one doesnt negate the other or assuage how awful he is

I feel no need to exaggerate his f-ups (or ignore his miraculous occasional positive contribution), they speak for themselves and the few positives like the aforementioned are more likely happy accidents than generated from the GM/Owner who would never do a trade like Herschels because Jerry believes in over paying and is too afraid to trade anyone for fear he's letting go of something too cheap, so they never get anything

Has there been a trade under the current GMs tenure that netted more than the 4th round pick they got for Anthony Fasano & Ayodele? Off the top of my head, I cant think of a trade where the team got better than a 4th

You guys keep posting these vids like it shows something spectacular. I'll tell you what I see....I see a QB(s) who doesn't look off his receiver, even in practice. Every. Single. Time. It's going to be a long year.

That's funny, I never heard that take, that the million plus all the other stuff they listed was just a bluff lol.

Emmitt's point was, Jerry never played a down and it's the PLAYERS who are responsible for the product on the field. He's not talking about Jerry's performance as an owner or GM.

And Jimmy has always taken 50 percent of the blame for what happened between him and Jerry.

Smith is ignoring the fact that when Jimmy was in charge we had competent people in charge of drafting, developing talent, etc, etc and there were enough of those players capable of taking on the responsibility of winning in spite of Jerry/Barry & the loss of Jimmy, et al

At least back then, there were some diamonds. Ever since, its been mostly poo poo, run by even stinkier poo poo that pissed away the few diamonds he managed to acquire so no matter how hard current players try to take on the task of overcoming the albatross at ownership, they'll always be inferior to the teams and organizations they'd have to defeat in order to win another SB
