They cut Patmon because they said he couldn't tackle (which was true)

That said, he didn't miss anywhere near as many tackles as Barry Church, and Church is considered a "good player" by idiot HC.

True story, in preseason someone at CZ posted that Barry Church was every bit as good as Kam Chancellor

I saw that, they said he wasn't "physical enough." So, they're saying "fight scratch claw" isn't good enough?

"Physical" wasn't even one of his qualities they signed him for. They just made him a scapegoat, is all. And a cheap one too because he didn't represent significant dead cap money.

Church and DT David Irving both going on IR. Irving fractured his wrist yesterday.

Church gave up numerous game deciding bad plays with his whiffed tackled and horrid angles.

Rewatch that Spiller 80 yard TD and ask yourself if a good football player takes the angle he does.

Barry Church is a Roy Williams 31 level liability in the secondary.

That's a massive insult to RW, who at least for a few years actually could play in space and make plays on the ball.

Weeden trolling Jerry:

Before Monday night's game, Weeden appeared on 107.7 The Franchise. At the end of that interview, Weeden was asked about Jones, the owner of the Cowboys.

The question: "Will it be extra satisfying because of what Jerry said to see the Cowboys completely just turn into a dumpster fire if you're in the playoffs?"

Weeden's response: "I mean yeah, absolutely. ... We get to play extra football and he'll be watching on his couch."

Barry Church is a Roy Williams 31 level liability in the secondary.

Roy Williams had 19 interceptions, 55 passes defensed (including 3 seasons with double digit PD's, 9 forced fumbles (not counting special teams), 6 1/2 sacks and 3 tds while he was here.

Barry Church stats (career)...3 picks, 12 passes defensed (including ZERO this yr), no sacks, 5 forced fumbles

I keep saying it, but AJ McCarron would have looked really nice with a Star on his helmet.

back up QB leads his team like a hot knife through butter against one of the better defenses in the league

whats that all about?

I thought losing your #1 QB automatically put you in the running for a top 10 pick

and then proceed to look like shit on the field as the powers that be suck any and all potential out of him in no time at all

Not sure I understand your appreciation of McCarron's appearance, but If you mean McCarron as the next up Cowboy QB and possibly of the future, completely agree. I wonder if there is still a trade chance?

Could be, but I really liked him coming out.

Was never sure what people were banging on him about. Sure he played for a great team, but he was part of the reason they were great.

Package deal. Hue Jackson and McCarron here. Clapper and Matt Cassel there.

His arm looks live and he looks calm/confortable out there

He was extremely well coached and prepared.

Good looking player, will be a quality starter for a long time IMO for somebody. Hell he keeps playing like this and Andy Dalton is going to get Wally Pipped
