Cornerback Morris Claiborne didn’t practice this week with hamstring and ankle injuries, and will not play Sunday in Miami.
The Dallas Cowboys officially ruled the starting cornerback out for the game. Claiborne exited last week’s game at Tampa Bay just before halftime with a hamstring injury.
Rookie Byron Jones is expected to start in Claiborne’s place.
Wide receiver Brice Butler (hamstring) and defensive end Ryan Russell (abdomen) have also been ruled out.
Running back Darren McFadden is questionable for the game. He has been limited in practice the past two days with a groin injury, and the team feels it’s been mostly precautionary.
The Cowboys could have newly acquired tailback Robert Turbin active for the game as well as rookies Rod Smith and Trey Williams.
Linebacker Kyle Wilber (toe) and defensive end Jeremy Mincey (thigh) are also questionable for the contest.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant (knee, foot, ankle) and linebacker Sean Lee (concussion) are probable.
