Can't believe dblair ain't watchin this game.
I watched, just didn't log in during the game.

Good game but one Miami probably should have won fairly easily. I think their HC is one of the more overrated guys in the country.

Notre Dame giving their best player 10 carries (the QB ran 11 times) seems like poor game planning.

In the other game, South Carolina proved last yr wasn't a fluke. They are going to be a problem for a lot of teams this year.

I thought Miami had more talent than what we saw and they should have won that game going away. ND tried to hide their QB and Miami didn't cut their QB loose. Miami played not to lose and you can't play that way if you're trying to make a statement against a top ranked team. They (Miami) played for a FG when they supposedly have one of the best passers in the country. That's OK for the NFL but not for college with an inconsistent kicker and you want to make a national ranking for a top bowl game.

Is that Michael Irvin on the U sideline getting in the ear of the TD scorers? Sure as heck looks like.
So Michael Irvin is with Fox. And so the ABC/ESPN announcers went out of their way to not mention Michael Irvin, even when Michael appeared in clips they were showing as the game was happening. They mentioned other Florida players that were now with the NFL.

He is? I thought all the networks dropped him after the hotel incident.
It was hard to figure that out. I went with what was in Wiki but I really didn't want to take a deep dive into his work status.

according to Grok AI

Yes, Michael Irvin is employed by FOX Sports. He is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and three-time Super Bowl champion who works as an analyst for the network, appearing on shows like Speak and contributing to NFL coverage.
