2020 CoronaVirus Outbreak - That began in Wuhan, China and is spreading

Exactly. But many areas are proceeding with mandates, rules for entering certain establishments, and other requirements as if this wasn't the case. As if what Maddow said was true. In sports, we've had 10 times or more spread of the virus after the vaccination. The reason is obvious.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Unfortunately Jerry dove in head first on his contract. It's structured so that Dak gets restructured before 2022, keeping him on the team longer. He'll be here for awhile. Dallas is going to need to seriously focus on defense and the run game if they want to win anything.

2020 CoronaVirus Outbreak - That began in Wuhan, China and is spreading

Right. But for all of the people that support this, what's their excuse? When you're not the one doing the mandating, and all logic has been cast aside, why do they continue to defend the government?

2020 CoronaVirus Outbreak - That began in Wuhan, China and is spreading

Yet the mandates persist! This, despite there being no logical reason behind the mandates at this point. They keep telling us that only the unvaccinated are sick in hospitals, if that's true, what are they worried about? Get the Vax and you're good. People are catching it vaxxed or not, what...

    2021 Schedule

In my opinion anything can happen in week 1. I wouldn't be totally surprised if the Cowboys won. Later on is a different story. IMO the Bucs haven't even peaked yet. They'll be back in the SB. Might even be the 2nd time in super bowl history we see a rematch the following year.

    2020 NFL Draft Weekend Thread

This guy was good. I had his live stream on in the background purposely hoping he'd flip out. He was wanting CeeDee Lamb the entire time.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Ok, that would explain the moving number. Thanks.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

A lot of players get tagged without the guarantee of upgrading the position, but rarely are they exclusive. Did anyone give up two first rounders for Cousins? As far as how I know he signed, I just went to Spotrac. It says he signed a 1 year deal worth X amount. I guess it's possible they...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Apparently the Cowboys have no interest in trading him. He just signed an exclusive franchise tag. That means they're not even willing to take 2 first rounders for him. Just when you thought Jerry couldn't get any dumber.

    Let the McCarthy era begin

Thanks for the reminder. For too many years have I been force fed Garrett and I can't shake it. For that reason I am not confident at all in this upcoming season. I have to actually experience the change.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

The Jones family would regain my respect if they let Dak walk or transition tagged him. Even after all of the years of stupidity. It would show they are not members of the new castrati.

    The Brady to Dallas Thread

I actually like the concept behind your 3rd idea. Basically swapping out WRs and gaining cap space in the process. A bit risky, but I like the thought process. I even like the Brady idea to some extent. New coach. A really good RB and nice WRs. The Cowboys would be relevant again. I...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

That's the precedent he is setting. And when he caves in here what do you think Cooper is going to want? Or Quinn for that matter? Throw in Cobb for good measure. I would love to see it. Let Dak walk or put a transition tag on him and let some other team sign him for obscene amount. A QB...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

I agree. But if you step back and look at that, that's the path to paying the most possible money. If you're going to pay one of the three, pay the guy most likely asking for the least. Transition tag the guy wanting the most. Dak is not Patrick Mahomes, he would be the target. Franchise...

    The Brady to Dallas Thread

With the players we have now the Cowboys limped to an 8-8 season. Paying Dak a ridiculous amount of money and losing key players is not a recipe for success. But will Jones see this? Probably not. Better hope your new coach is like Jesus Christ.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Transition tag even cheaper. It's the average of the top ten at his position. I don't think any team is offering Dak what he is asking for. And if he's asking for top dollar, the Cowboys have nothing to lose by transition tagging him. They can either match top dollar or not. No team is...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

That is the upside and why I suggested it. But yeah, they won't be quite as good as Dak early on. But at least the Cowboys can keep a large portion of good players. Dallas could probably get Eason in the 2nd. Might have to trade up a few spots.

    The Brady to Dallas Thread

Yeah it's two first rounders if Dallas chooses not to match. It almost never happens.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Jordon Love or Jacob Eason. Forget Fromm. Dallas could trade up for Herbert, but do we really know he's that much better? Burrow or Tua, ok, but we really don't have the draft capital for them. I just don't think we're losing that much moving on from Dak. I think the conservative route is...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

The Cowboys don't have the draft capital to trade up for Burrow. They couldn't do it if they wanted to. The Cowboys need to move on from Dak. Pay the UFAs they need to pay and maybe be active in free agency. Then draft a QB. Dak is not elite and he's not even close to elite. If Dallas...
