Butch Jones, Tennessee head into offseason with high hopes By STEVE MEGARGEE AP Sports Writer Tennessee certainly finished off the season in style. If the Volunteers start next season as well as they closed their last two, they'll really be ready to make a move up the college football...

That just means we'll get him in the second round now. Amirite?

Did you ever like the guy? Buy into his potential? And if so, when did your opinion change? For me, I had a lot of the same high hopes for him that a lot of retard zoners still do. I wanted him to be the next long term Cowboys coach. Liked how he sounded in PC's. Liked the idea of him...

I'm just glad more and more of the media is recognizing this.

For someone who repeated "Next man up" like a mantra early in the season, Jason Garrett and this Cowboys organization were not at all ready when it came time to walk the walk. Why was this organization so unprepared in key positions (QB,RB,WR) when it came time to lean on the backups...

All cornerbacks look alike. Except for Seahorn.

Sense in Browns that Pettine's last game is Sunday Time appears ready to run out on Mike Pettine's time with the Cleveland Browns. NFL Media's Rand Getlin reported Friday, via multiple sources, that there's a sense within the Browns' organization that Sunday's game against the Steelers will...

Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State I will admit that I was massively underwhelmed by Ogbah this summer when I studied him. He looked very basic as a pass rusher on tape with no edge quickness and a lack of burst off the snap. However, the more I watch Ogbah, the more I understand that he...

Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss I studied and wrote up my draft profile on Treadwell this afternoon before heading over to the game. All of his strengths from my draft profile showed up in this game, so I might as well share them with you now: Treadwell isn't the fastest receiver you'll...

Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss I went down on the field an hour before the game to get a look at Tunsil in a t-shirt and shorts to get a good feel for his body type. The first thing that stood out was that he has average size for a tackle in this day and age of tall trees at that spot. Not that...

Glad to see him leave, quite honestly. Not only because he's a good coach, but also because I hate his beady black eyes, bird nose, and rosy red cheeks.

Well its hard to say. All dependent on what kind of trade action there is. Tennessee probably wants to land one of the top two OT's (Tumsil or Staley). Browns could go in any direction, really. I'm not convinced their giving up on Manzel. Chargers probably wouldn't take a QB, I don't think...

Top 4 rounds.... 1. Ronald Darby, CB, FSU - Gotta replace Carr & Claiborne. Have a secondary that generates turnovers. 2. Carl Nassib, OLB, PSU - Talented player and team leader. RKG 3. Cardale Jones, QB, OSU - All the physical tools plus some. Needs a year or two to develop, which...

By Rob Rang | The Sports Xchange/CBSSports With California cruising to a 55-36 victory over Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl on Tuesday, it is likely only a matter of time before junior quarterback Jared Goff officially announces that he will forgo his senior season and head to the NFL. As...

By Rob Rang | The Sports Xchange/CBSSports.com The 2016 NFL Draft features plenty of talent at the quarterback position, but it's spread out between a dozen (or more) prospects. That's unlike a year ago when it was obvious that the top two prospects -- Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota --...

2016 NFL Draft: Who helped, hurt stock in New Year's Day bowl games By Rob Rang | The Sports Xchange/CBSSports.com A serious knee injury to Notre Dame star linebacker Jaylon Smith and the ejection of top-rated prospect Joey Bosa for targeting were the two obvious headlines from an NFL Draft...

Tennessee 45 Northwestern 6: The Great Wait Consider what a win like this would have been worth last year. Or the year before. Or at any point in the last seven years. It was still impressive today. But after a first half which felt at times like Tennessee was letting a motivated opponent...

But you can read and post in it too if you want. Basically the arc seems upward for my Vols, whereas the future seems like a wasteland of shit for my Cowboys for at least the next few years until Garrett is shatcanned. So I'm going to start directing more of my fandom back to my favorite...

Did you even read the article? And what was the expectations from the Redskins this year? We're they pegged to be world-beaters? Or did everyone pencil them in last place in the division... again? Because you know, that is a roster full of holes.
