If the Cowboys want to win now, they should take Ezekiel Elliott at No. 4

Hard to argue against it. Elliott would be a huge difference maker here.

    CNNSI Post-Combine mock

I really think if they draft Jack its to play MLB. Hitchens (or maybe McClain if he's re-signed) might be the strong OLB.

That's not saying much. Putting you on the field is probably better than most of our safeties.

Jerry Jones too old for rookie quarterback

Now Gil Brandt is out there saying Jones swore to him recently there's no way he is taking a QB at 4

    Eagles re-sign Bradford

    fair and completely valid point

Hopefully he works out if we draft him. I'll definitely be pulling for him if we land him. I just have my doubts though.

Jerry Jones too old for rookie quarterback

Its freaking bizarre for sure. I can hear it tomorrow: "We got our Donovan McNabb now with Quincy Carter"

    Eagles re-sign Bradford

He'd probably be on the field by the end of September after Bradford gets KO'd by some injury

    2016 NFL Draft Thread...

Yeah....Browns take Wentz. We trade our pick to the Rams who take Goff. We sit at 15 waiting for Lynch, then the Niners or Eagles nab him before we pick.

    2016 NFL Draft Thread...

How much later though? Say Wentz and Goff go 2-3 or 2-4, SF could have strong interest in Lynch if the didn't move up to 3 or 4 for Goff. So could Philly and definitely so could the Rams. I don't think its 100% out of the question that teams like San Diego and even Chicago might take a QB too.

I would. Passing on the QB at 4 would be colossal level stupid this year IMO

Now Jerry's out there saying how ideal the Packers situation with Favre and Rodgers was and hoping for something similar here.

Your top 3 and how strongly it's your top 3

Even good teams cant account for what other teams end up doing though. Hey its a great idea, trade down to 10-15 and still get Elliott plus some other stuff. The problem comes is if you trade down thinking he's "our guy" and somebody else between 5 and whenever we pick takes him, or trades...

I'm not 100% sure of that with either. Better, probably. MUCH better, I don't know. And drafting them 4th you'd almost have to have some guarantee that it would be MUCH better to get me to feel comfortable. Of the two I'd probably prefer Jack, but even he is a little bit of a question mark...
