Who'd be happy with Jalen Ramsey?

If he ends up being a wastoid (pot) then yeah its likely. Otherwise I think he'll be pretty good and just from a play on the field perspective I think he's a safe pick.

Who'd be happy with Jalen Ramsey?

It wasn't just BSPN, virtually all the draft "experts" had Claiborne rated as not only the top CB, but most had him as the top defensive player. As an aside to this, most people assumed when we moved up it was going to be for Mark Barron, who ended up going with the next pick to Tampa. That...

    GM Jerry- Flashback to 1995

I was on the AOL boards then, and we were all going bonkers. Werent any real CZ sheep in there. Either that or maybe everyone was just more realistic. I thought it was a terrible draft with every minute I watched on TV. I still think its the worst draft we've had since they went to the 7 round...

    GM Jerry- Flashback to 1995

Yeah they thought he was a Novacek clone, I guess he was except for that hands of stone part.

    Ezekiel Elliot

We disagree then, nothing wrong with that. Only reason I wouldn't pick him is the question over the left handed cigs. Otherwise from strictly a player standpoint I think he'd be an excellent addition.

    Ezekiel Elliot

There's plenty of clips showing him doing a great job bending and getting the corner on people. he doesn't have the explosive first step people like Ware or Miller have, but he does play with excellent technique and that would probably only get better working with someone like Marinelli. He...

    Ezekiel Elliot

I don't see Bosa as "stiff" at all. The only thing he lacks is explosive 40-time speed.

    GM Jerry- Flashback to 1995

He flubbed out with us and never made it on a team anywhere else. Wasn't very good (was one of those athletic freak types) but work ethic was a problem I think, then he had a significant injury of some sort and never returned.

    Ezekiel Elliot

I wouldn't completely rule out Elliott. The DL crop is deep, its not far fetched to think they could nab one or two good DE's even if they used a 2nd and 3rd, 2nd and 4th or 3rd and 4th etc etc. I'm not really worried about Lawrence long term. While it stinks and its bad timing to get...

    GM Jerry- Flashback to 1995

IMO arguably the worst draft in team history. I saw this posted and unfortunately, reminded me of how awful things were post-Jimmy. Darren Rovell on Twitter: "Flashback: The Sporting News picks best players ahead of the 1995 NFL Draft https://t.co/ERvam8NuZP" We had 3 picks in top 60 (all in...

Good guess. He looked out of shape most of last year too and like many other guys on defense, missed tons of tackles.

    2016 NFL Draft Thread...

This is neither a list of the best players in the draft overall, nor guys I consider the best at each position. They're all good, but they fit into a couple of separate categories. They are players who I've either: •Often rated higher than other evaluators within the draft media or team...

    Bob McGinn QB rankings

He finally got the extensive playing time. Clearly got better and better and as you said, played a ton better at seasons end. His last 4 games (Auburn, Florida, Michigan St, Clemson) he completed 71% of his passes, 7 tds, no picks and threw the ball downfield extremely well. Has size, arm...
