You know where I stand on this, I thought it was a bad decision to draft him with our current state on defense. That said, the draft is not just about "this" year. The draft is more about funneling talent in for the future.

Hopefully our election process wont be as rigged as Hildakunt email sham was, but that's probably wishful thinking at best.

Nzeocha has been getting a lot of pub this offseason, seems coaches have been impressed and he has really shown tremendous athletic ability. Its a big if, but he could be an upgrade at SLB if he wins the starting job.

That's why I was so mad about it on draft day. This wasn't an ultra loaded defense that could afford to take this sort of gamble right now. Really pulling for the kid and hoping he turns into a great player here, but it was a risk this franchise shouldn't have taken right now.
