Sorry, but Romo's injury is not the fault of Doug Free. Players are going to get hit. Unfortunately Romo took a hit he wasn't prepared for and it was extremely awkward.

They clearly wanted to show Elliott who was who, but he showed them I think. As for Carroll playing starters that long I expected that, Seattle hadn't looked overly good so far and he wanted to get them going I think. It was good experience for our guys to go against that I think.

I think this was a fair comment last yr especially with the 2nd injury vs Carolina. But that hit last night was a tough one. He got hit awkwardly and wasn't expecting it, and took the brunt of all of Avril's weight. It looked bad.
