Cowboys now in must-have mode at cornerback in the draft

Still say it depends on who's available. I'm not taking a player at DE, S or CB in 1st or 2nd rd just for the sake of taking one. If the CB is clearly the higher rated guy and is a walk in regular contributor/starter from day one, you pick him 1st. If its DE or S, that's fine too. Not 100%...

    Misc 2017 Draft Notes

Loved him before the injury, don't want him at all now. Achilles tears are still big deals, despite the advances in medicine. Too many other quality CB prospects to be gambling on a guy coming off a major injury, and despite his contention that he is playing this year, put me down for "will...

National writer: Cowboys will feel impact of passing on Jalen Ramsey

Deion was a great athlete no doubt, but he was also a great CB technician. He also had great instincts. That said, while he would no doubt be "good" in todays game, he'd be nowhere near AS GOOD as he was then.

National writer: Cowboys will feel impact of passing on Jalen Ramsey

Look at the way the game is played now. The rules are EXTREMELY stacked in the offense's, particularly the passing games favor. Its why if the 92-95 Cowboys played in this league today, Aikman would have obliterated a ton of records. Totally different game.

Cowboys now in must-have mode at cornerback in the draft

Guess it depends on who's there. Not sure which safety you think will be there that's definitely worth the 28th pick. I could see several CB's or pass rushers worth the 28th pick though. Kinda liking Josh Jones with the 60th pick myself, if he made it that far.

NY Giants don't just look better than Cowboys in NFCE - they could be best team in all NFL

Not sure about that yet. We lost to them twice but both games could have easily went the other way, and we did win the division by 2 games. We do need to do well again in the draft, plus have some of these young (or injured) guys step up some. But their offense doesn't really worry me...

National writer: Cowboys will feel impact of passing on Jalen Ramsey

Yawn. What a fucking moron. Ramsey might end up being a really, really good CB (or safety), but I don't think he'll ever be a DOMINANT player. Not because he cant be really good, but because the position he plays makes it impossible for him to really alter a game all by himself. The days of...
