    Defending Romo

The drama could be good, shaking up this roster. Romo's only 6-2.

    Defending Romo

I just have a bad, bad feeling about when Jerry for once in his life ignores his glory hound demons does the right thing - skipping Manziel - that irony bites his ass and Johnny Football tears up the league. I maintain we should have taken him, even for only the shakeup value he would bring to...

And is the all-time NFL pick leader, and overall turnover leader.

That's wrong. One Lombardi does it for me.

    Defending Romo

And way before that Tom tried to trade Danny to move up and get either Elway or Marino. His disenchantment with Danny started way before most people's did. And look guys - most terrible defense ever last year, and not one blowout loss. So that's hopeful for the future, if the defense can play...

    Defending Romo

Jerry never learns either. Should we have taken Manziel? I believe so.
  7. Doomsday

    Defending Romo

We have the 71st rated player out of the top 100 at QB. That's according to the players themselves. Lots of other teams wish they had that at QB. So that's granted, it could be alot worse.

Dallas. Not AFC teams from the 80s.

    Defending Romo

That part all by itself would build a fire under some asses. This team isn't terrible guys. It's just mediocre.

    Defending Romo

I think most everyone here's been halfway reasonable actually. Even the admitted "Romo Homer." Can we agree it is time to draft a QB? Plus - does anyone here at all think Dallas wins another playoff game with Romo at the helm?

Dude, look at my posts early in the thread. I think I am being damned fair, not outright bashing.

Incredibly early 2015 Fanspeak Mock Draft

Nice of the simulator to figure on Dallas being around 8-8 again. Dunno if that's optimism? Here's mine: 16 QB BRETT HUNDLEY UCLA 48 DE SHELDON DAY NOTRE DAME 80 RB MIKE DAVIS SOUTH CAROLINA 112 ILB CURTIS GRANT OHIO STATE 144 FB JOE BERGERON TEXAS 176 DT JAMES CASTLEMAN OKLAHOMA STATE 217...

    Defending Romo

It has to be that week 16 game v. Washington, since we won the early one going away.
  17. Doomsday

    Defending Romo

When you do turnovers in the 4th quarter, and three and outs in the 4th quarter, it's hard for any defense to stop anyone in the 4th quarter. Blame the defense. That's the ticket.
  18. Doomsday

    Defending Romo

And it never ends. Just like the Romo chokes in big games will never end.
  19. Doomsday

    Defending Romo

You mean in week 16, when the defense stepped up and held Washington to a 3 and out with a minute left? It was 14-6 Dallas at half. Two bonehead Romo picks in the 3rd quarter led to 14 Redskins points. The defense held them to just three points in the turnover free fourth quarter. What, for once...
