Small details matter - what would YOU suggest?

Premise: You are hired as a consultant answering to Jason Garrett, to improve performance. Post your suggestions here. Mine: 1.) Sweat the details: Start with the most basic and seemingly unimportant stuff. Example - Every team you see at every level be it High School, College, the Pros and...

Byron Jones providing a safety net for the Cowboys

He's been less of a dim spot so far, than the rest of the Legion of Boobs has.

Show some backbone and control your Cowboys, Jason Garrett

Oh Gawd pleeease.... If there is ANY justice in the world, pleeease let this happen soon!

Show some backbone and control your Cowboys, Jason Garrett

He was trying to decide whether to clap or not.

For the sake of Texas, will Jerry Jones ever give the crazy talk a rest?

Mother fucker should have had his ass removed and kicked out of any and all manly sports for life, for owning a fucking futon. Of course he will dummy, the stadium!

For the sake of Texas, will Jerry Jones ever give the crazy talk a rest?

No, he won't. Until he eats tons and tons of puss-infected maggot laden dick, and dies a slow, horrible death. Great op-ed though.

    RGIII to the Cowboys

If you like bad footwork, habit of side-arming, not following through.... I could go on. You keep saying this apparently forgetting that was tried, and he had one wow 'em year before Washington found out what most intelligent people already know - a running QB winds up being a crippled QB. There...

    How did we get here?

No, I don't and never even thought that. Running the ball and making it a feature of the offense was due to Tony's back issues, period. The success of it was due to a RB beasting it in his contract year. We then let the beast leave and don't draft a replacement RB or sign any decent ones...

The pole smoker who hired him.

    How did we get here?

I mean, "How did we get here" isn't the right question. It assumes we've been somewhere recently. We're getting, nowhere. We haven't been anywhere in 20 years now.

    How did we get here?

And.... That's the difference between the perennially mediocre NFL teams like us, and the ones who pretty much every year remain at or near the top. Competent Management.

    How did we get here?

People forget the year before last, when we were bringing in guys off the street to play DL due to the massive injuries. We played 21 different starters that year in the DL and finished with our third consecutive 8-8 record. Your 12-4 last year was a aberration, fluke of mostly luck - injury...

    Who you got? Week 8

I agree, he sticks with and even rewards failure, therefore encouraging more of it. And gets the wrong thing infecting the team.

Anyone else here a wikipedia editor? Dallas Cowboys 2015 page needs help bad

The game summaries on the Dallas Cowboys 2015 season Wikipedia page just make me sick. They read like a 12 year-old wrote them for his middle school sports page. No, I'll take that back, the 12 year old at least has some professional guidance and would do a better job. Anyway, I edited the last...

    Who you got? Week 8

Collins brought attitude and was just nasty out there. O-Linemen need to be nasty and you can't do that pass blocking all the time. Staying with the run builds that nastiness and this chemistry infects the whole team if you let it.

    RGIII to the Cowboys

Neither are quarterbacks. They are two very gifted physically, football players who both could be deadly when put in a position to succeed. QB ain't it, for either of them.

    RGIII to the Cowboys

His mechanics suck and he shows he either does not have the ability to improve them or the desire to do so. He can fucking RUN and has some good open field moves. He loses his head under pressure. He's not a quarterback. But i think he would make a dangerous slot man. LOL if he as a blue chip...
