    Aikman: RGIII or JM

Yep you kept saying that after the fact too. I don't mind if you want to be pig headed and continue to believe "oh shucky dern, just plain dumb bad luck Dallas couldn't draft a RB last year, all were taken" shit. I will continue to believe they never had any intentions of taking one, they SAID...

That was AFTER the fact. What they were saying BEFORE the draft is what I am referencing, not their bullshit spin after.

    Aikman: RGIII or JM

No? I seem to remember they kept saying it wasn't a priority because they liked what they had at RB, on the roster already. And of course no one took them at their word and were SHOCKED when they didn't draft a RB.

I think Troy smells what Jerry's cooking. Just like last year when most everyone thought we should and would draft a running back. Of course it didn't happen because as they said, they felt like they had it covered. They STILL are out there saying they can get 4 more years out of Time Bomb Tony...

Never got much of a chance to prove anything. They did contact him after his release from the Bills, but he told them he was done. Would have liked to have seen him for some of the games we gave Weeden - couldn't be any worse than that. But, 8 1/2 inch hands, you can pretty much forget it.

The fatal flaw of one Dustin Vaughan - his hands were so small he even had to grip the ball in a weird way.

This of course assumes they think drafting a QB in the first or second round is a priority. I am not assuming that in fact, I doubt it.

You're still putting McClay way too high on the Scrotum Pole that is the Dallas hierarchy. Surely Willie knew we needed a fucking RB last year right? There's certainly no evidence of it, if he did. Either way no matter what he might or might not have said, the die was cast and we did NOT draft a...

I just have this niggling feeling they think they have it covered, much like last year when I had a feeling they would not draft a RB. I think these idiots really believe they have Romo for at least four more years, and besides - 400 yards out of Moore!!! Wouldn't shock me at all if they fail...

It's official... I'm off the Romo bandwagon. Can't wait until he's gone.

Only different in terms of field position. Typically the punt is less advantageous to your O than a pick or a fumble recovery, field position-wise. But yeah, you have a good point.

Of course, in the NFL he will have bigtime D-1 linemen, bigtime D-1 receivers and running backs helping him out. But yep, most college QBs never make that transition to the NFL game successfully. Will be fun to see if he can.

Total BS. Jerry has final say. That he is listening more to these guys doesn't change the fact of his final say. He told Stephen for example, that Martin is a 8-8 move. But LET him make that pick anyway. Key word - LET.

Actually in '89 we had them both, and we even re-did Danny's contract. But in the late summer Jimmy made it clear to Danny he didn't at all fit into our plans. In retrospect it might have helped some to let Danny play out that '89 year and save Troy the pounding.
