NFL Nostalgia: Ranking History's Most Clutch Quarterbacks 7) Roger Staubach

Not disagreeing with any of this. In fact, Romo wouldn't last a single season in Aikman's era, much less Roger's. Back when they could really hit the QB, and could pretty much mug the receivers. They'd gobble Romo up and make him a snack. Roger that. (Pun intended.) Just what I posted above...

NFL Nostalgia: Ranking History's Most Clutch Quarterbacks 7) Roger Staubach

Statistically, he easily is. But that's really not saying much, since Dallas has never been much of a passing team. Romo breaks all of Aikman's passing records? Big deal, those are pretty pedestrian even for Aikman's time. It's when the fanbois start comparing Romo to Marino or even Brees that...

Mike Lombardi rips Red Garrett's coaching ability

Lombardi's not ripping anyone, not backing trucks over people, everything he's stated is just observable fact. Most all of which most of us have been saying for years.

Vegas over/under is 9.5 wins this year, what say you?

Excellent catch! I forgot 2008 was Scandrick's rookie year, and also forgot totally about Ladouceur, who is always quietly perfect.

It hit me the other day, he is now the last player on the roster who ever suited up for a game in Texas Stadium.

If they're getting picks at all, they're immediately better. It's not like that bar is in any way high. Our secondary SUCKED the last many years, really since Woody retired if you want to know the truth. But like you later pointed out, we've upgraded over Claiborne and Wilson. Might be more such...

Vegas over/under is 9.5 wins this year, what say you?

No I don't think anyone's going to avoid them at all, in fact they will try to pick on them. BUT, they don't know the tendencies of these guys yet, don't know the best way to attack them. Will be risking some picks in finding out, early in the season until they figure out tendencies. Football is...

Vegas over/under is 9.5 wins this year, what say you?

On the other hand, it will take some time for opposing OC's to get the hang of all the new personnel on this pretty much new defense. Unfortunately, around week 11 that's a done deal.

Vegas over/under is 9.5 wins this year, what say you?

You can win the division with four wins. That not only gets you in the playoffs, but guarantees you a home game as well. But your point is well taken - the East really is a mediocre division. Has three teams which on any given year can be 13-3 or 4-12.

I'm in for 7 or 8 at the outside. Nine or more would be a surprise.

For those of you who live in TX Where to live in TX)

Some might find it ironic that as a Homestead exempt property owner you don't have to pay for our public schools, even if you have kids attending them. It's landlords and business landowners who pay. Also one reason the rate is so much higher than the other entities. But you would be surprised...

    Jethro Pugh

I only ever heard "Buzz Pugh" on the radio and in some radio spots, but don't know what it is or what it means. I also remember the play in the Ice Bowl where GB double-teamed him for the QB sneak Bart Starr scored on, to end the game. I also remember he would come out of nowhere when you least...
