Plus if he's ever "cured" and taken completely off the regime, it's at least a year before he can go back to infection-risk environments, if at all. Takes that long or longer for the immune system to bounce back from the suppression. Curious and if you don't mind telling, what's your immuno...

Yep sadly it's much more likely than not, that his playing career is done. Especially if they have to go to a "management" regime rather than the current cure regime. Either way the prognosis is good though, for a long and productive life, the damage to him can be minimized long term and the...

2018 NFL Week #13 Gameday Thread: New Orleans Saints (10-1) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-5)

To me this is no surprise and the speclation he might be back this season was a bit far fetched. Because the main thrust of his treatment is immuno suporession to a high degree, and the locker room environment as well as practice and gameday is rife with infection opportunities for everyone...

Surely we cannot be stupid enough to even consider trading LVE.

For whatever reason we've been pretty good at getting kickers and having success with them over the last 10 years. Which when you think about it, is just about Ginger's speed.

Bailey hooks yet another one for the Vikes... Way wide left with no chance on distance either. Missed 2 last week as well. Looks like we made a good move cutting him.

Because: Garrett regime: " My God, Fred is great. I don't know WHAT we would do if he went down!" Jimmy regime: "If we lose Step we'll be prepared because our backup is ready in all phases and nuances of his position. We've put in the WORK and assured that. At all positions." HOPE is a plan...

Are there any computer gurus here?

Make sure you don't ever run any of the maintenance tools on that SSD, like defragment for example. Not only is it never necessary, it can fuck up your data. Also beware of your power situation, don't just leave the sumbitch on all the time. SSDs don't react well to outages, spikes...

Are there any computer gurus here?

Amazing how the more transistors we're able to embed into each square inch of silicon, the more the technological curve of computing power steepens. And that rate, the increase in the number of transistors per square inch? That curve is exponential now. Kurtzweil's Law of Accelerating Returns is...

    RIP George H.W. Bush

Only third person ballot I ever saw that had a significant effect on the outcome of a Presidential election.

The point is exactly what I said. Today's mobile young QBs never had the pocket training the old timers you list did. Never had it in HS, or college but now must learn it in the pros. Those guys knew how to take a snap from center and properly do 5 and 7 step dropbacks. Knew how to read...

Yep it's the conference of the soft zone backend and the read and react front. And the "Air Raid" offense won't survive in the NFL any more than the "Run and Shoot" or the "K-Gun did.

And by the way, just to make sure I'm on record and you don't get it twisted, I am AGAINST extending Dak. I think they should let him play out his last year then let him test the market. If he gets signed away, more power to him. If not then we have all good reason to sign him to a short term...

Ahh, you mean after the first full offseason of Garrett's "coaching." See? You can actually get it, if you try. It's nice to see you're slowly starting to come around and no longer call Dak's 2016 campaign "just lucky." But, had most people here calling me an idiot, and such. NOBODY else saw it...

So... It took this league which has seen this before with Kaep and Vick.... 24 games to "figure Dak out" and you like to pretend they never tried the "make him beat us" stuff all through those first 24 games. And have erased from your memory how I PREDICTED the way Ginger's "coaching" was going...

    Hey Goodell, about Kareem Hunt

It's PC in general that's eventually going to destroy the Republic, starting with free speech. "me too" is just one of the many heads of the PC Hydra. The problem with "bullying" laws and "hate crimes" laws is, they get to change the definitions of these according to who's in power and what...

    Hey Goodell, about Kareem Hunt

Good point though. You might have something there. Getting on the exempt list might pre-empt restraining orders? As in, they might not go to court after the fact? I think they still could and could get that lifted, unless it's clearly spelled out that it's not subject to appeal via the CBA?
