Why would they let him walk away for nothing? He's almost assuredly going to have a good, if not huge year (if there is a season). The Cowboys can tag him again if they want, they won't let him walk as a free agent.

How is any of that wrong? Other than you just don't like the take. He certainly isnt going to be the focus of any defense's game plan, especially early in the season. He'll continue to draw favorable matchups or coverages.
