2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

The answer to your first question, when we were GOOD? Almost never. You know why? Because the OL was good. It doesn't mean he gained 10 yards every time he ran it, but rarely did he consistently get stuffed for zero yards or losses and certainly nowhere near the frequency our guys do now (or the...

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Well, its highly unlikely we won't be treating this as a preseason game now, although Philly might as they are in and can only be the 6th or 7th seed. To rest a bunch of guys we'd need to know the results of Bucs, Rams and maybe Cards games, and obviously we wont know that now.

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

No dipshit that's not what good teams do. Good teams call plays that give the team the best chance to move the ball and score points. The run game was not working. They got no movement whatsoever. Continuing to call plays that net 1 or 2 yards, (or worse, none and losses) does not improve your...

In all seriousness, their "statement" was they are still a bunch of losers.

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

I cant remember for certain, it was either that play or maybe one before where one or two Cards OL moved and they ignored that too. Half the Cowboys team saw it and pointed and nada from the refs.

They all seem pretty sure. Definitely didnt look bad when it happened, but you could tell from Gallup's reaction that he knew it was bad.

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Yeah this is a real problem and one of the reasons todays loss is so awful. There just wasnt much excuse for it. I really doubt the majority of these key players for us were honoring any sort of a curfew from this past weekend, regardless of what Prescott said mid-week. They just looked flat...

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Truth. And some of what they "missed" happened right in front of the official. The play I referenced in my OP where the Cards held BOTH Gregory and Lawrence was painfully obvious and the ref was looking right at it. The ref was looking right at Amari Cooper when the Card guy was raping him all...

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Not sure why they thought having a bad blocking TE (that would be Schultz) try to block a perennial probowl DE (Chandler Jones) was a good plan. It happened at least two or three times that everyone could see, and every time it was a disaster.

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Most of the calls on us were legit Dooms, nobody I have seen post so far has said otherwise. The problem is when the same officials who call all that stuff on one side almost completely ignore it on the other side.

"They don't call what they don't see" Yeah I'm on board with that, however the stuff in question from today was ALL seen, and they did something else.

He wasnt making excuses, he pointed out the obvious. The officiating was not good Dooms. The team played like shit, but the refs did not do a good job today.

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Yep, they COULDNT run. It had nothing to do with not calling it enough like Dooms said. No excuse for it either.

2021 NFL Week 17: Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys

Yeah but there's no excuse to miss obvious holding calls right in front of you, false starts, delay of games and saying a guy was down in bounds when he clearly wasnt. They called just about everything they could on us. On the other hand the Cards did plenty that was ignored or did the same...

Well, he's not wrong. The refs were bad, but they should have played better as a team ad it probably wouldnt have mattered.
