Like I said in the other thread, it's not happening. He's already listed his house, he knows he is gone. Jones said what he did to keep players (and fans) believing that they are still focused on winning. With the remaining schedule we have, there's realistically only two winnable games left...

Looks like a bright future for him. We definitely have the makings of a young, talented OL for a few years to come here. Just need a really strong OL coach to maximize it.

I don't think this team is capable of beating anyone "comfortably" IF they win, I'm sure it'll be a fairly close game and will have few, if any "style" points.

Relax, what do you expect him to say publicly with 6 games left in the season? He wants the players, as much as the fans to still think they have a chance and are playing hard. McCarthy's already put his house on the market, he knows he is done here.

They benched him for contract protection, supposedly the CBA doesn't allow for that. I suspect the NFLPA was pretty vocal behind the scenes about what the Giants did and that's one of the reasons the team granted his release now rather than wait until after the season. That said, the results...

This is pretty damn good.

This is really too bad, he has been another small bright spot on an otherwise shitty season. I think he has played quite well.

On another note, I watched a little of Allar the other day and there's definitely some stuff to like with him. I need to watch some more but my earlier assessment that he was similar to a couple other bust Penn State QB's may have been to harsh.

The networks have done a horrible job almost every week with the broadcast schedule. Just another step in the wrong direction for college football. The product on the field is turning into complete shit just like the NFL.
