Winning is the great deodorizer. Hell, we put up with Switzer - Barry fucking Switzer - in Tom's office and on the sideline. Why? Because he proved Jerruh right when he said any 100 other people could coach that team and managed to stay out of the way enough for Jimmy's team to win their last...

'The Hitch' returns - Dallas O-Line used it in Victory formation last night

s0n... "hate" is such a overused and misused word. You don't hate Carrot Top. You don't object to his existence or him sharing the planet with us. You might have a extreme dislike for him, but that's not hate. :smile1

'The Hitch' returns - Dallas O-Line used it in Victory formation last night

Let's all make sure we understand this, from the official article: Garrett did not know. It was a pact among the O-Line and the TEs. He can SAY he taught it to them but by the way he does not come right out and say that. He tried to infer it. And I call, BS. It's never been seen, heard about or...

No, the rule on setting the o-line has never changed. Once your hand or hands hits the ground you are set. Until then, you can move pre-snap. On the hitch, they keep their hands up near their knees, do the hitch, concluding with the 3 or 4 point stance.

Liked what I saw out of Vikings rookie Bridgewater

It doesn't matter who it is against - either these guys have good habits or they don't. These are habits of long standing as well, very difficult to change. Bridgewater has those good habits.

'The Hitch' returns - Dallas O-Line used it in Victory formation last night

If you really read what people here say, you'll see no one really hates garrett. Most of us do not like his demeanor - we have professional cheerleaders and don't need another one. We don't like him clapping for missed FGs and turnovers. We don't like him telling players "it's okay" as they come...

    Tap the Brakes

And judging by how FEW people took the Boys in this one, in the "Who you got" thread, I'd say the folks here have their heads on pretty straight about this team. Very few expected a win and only one predicted the four turnover, 21 point win.

    Tap the Brakes

Yep the Cowboys of the last few years would have pissed this one away - and almost did. The late 3 and outs were highly reminiscent of failures in that regard. They went too conservative on the play calling just when you DON'T need to. When you have a big lead, keep attacking. Without a...

At the zone they are using this to slather slobber all over Carrot Top's dick, saying what a genius he is for thinking of this. :rolleyes

They just kicked their collective asses in all three phases of the game. It gives them something to build on and be proud of - they almost flipped the score exactly, from what it was just a year ago. Nawlins isn't what it was back in 2010. So what. As Tom Landry said, "The other team pays its...

Romo did a double take when they did it - he didn't know about it. These guys sprung this on everyone.

'The Hitch' returns - Dallas O-Line used it in Victory formation last night

I highly doubt it. It's far more likely this O-Line got together and did this themselves. I don't see Garrett saying "Okay guys, look when we take the knee from Victory formation, I want you O-Linemen to do the 'hitch' from the old days." And then spending valuable practice time, getting it...

I think they have a good find in Bridgewater. He's got everything RG Pee lacks, starting with a brain.

Wouldn't mind seeing that all the time. It brings unity to the OL unit. But yeah, wish I had noticed it at the time. Really classy of them to do that. It tells me they are forming a brotherhood of sorts, among themselves.

    Cowboy games drinking confession thread.

I must confess that starting at halftime I popped open a Shiner Bock - and by game's end 11 of those poor bastards got knocked off. Then another four or five, after the game. I think we as fans drink more when the Cowboys do well than when they don't.
