It's helped that they brought in two better WRs this year via FA.

How the Cowboys averted disaster and squashed the 49ers like an ant

But unlike Jerruh, they might have woken up and smelled the coffee. Bad ownership but had their team in the fucking Super Bowl recently. Unlike Jerruh.

No, really it's not. It's not possible that Garrett wins a SB. For example. Shows how homeristic and stupid he is.

How the Cowboys averted disaster and squashed the 49ers like an ant

Probably not. They each have iron clad, six year contracts. That says nothing good about us beating them. God, you're stupid. Really. Shanahan didn't "blow" the SB. The fucking Falcons DEFENSE did. And you act like Ginger hasn't BLOWN a big lead or two, this season alone? How come we never see...

Wrong. GARRETT has stopped the Cowboys in the playoffs twice. Nonsense. We didn't need Rodgers out or hurt, we needed a COACH. If we make the playoffs we are one and done, no matter the opponent or who its quarterback is.

Yeah the "talks" went like this: Dallas: Any way we can trade up with you guys? Other Teams: Fuck, no.

Except he was either 1 or 2 on most everyone's draft board, including ours. Only knock on him was lack of playing time.

I bet'cha they get to the SB before we do. Better GM, better HC, they'll get better players.

Would you give up those 3 Super Bowls? If so, what for?

It surely wasn't from me. And I don't remember ever seeing it. Love it though.

Interesting Brad Sham note on late 80's with Landry

Sham might also remember that in '87 and '88 they were wining and dining Jimmy, even having him attend games in the owner's booth with Tex. Plan was to hire Jimmy as Assistant HC/DC with the idea he would become HC when Tex was finally able to ease Tom out the door. Jimmy declined that offer, at...

If the plan is to go for two when the kicker goes down, that's fine. But let's have some two point plays that WORK and aren't chaotic. Our plan was to have Heath kick the PATs in a emergency. But we couldn't get him out there for the PAT when needed. We had to wait until the next time we...

You misunderstand my beef. It's not that Heath is the reserve kicker, that's fine. It's that we weren't prepared for the injury to the extent we could get him out there for the first extra point and the two point try was hurried and poorly conceived. It wound up not mattering if course. But...

We ran up 501 total offensive yards and Dak finished with a 134.0 passer rating with NO turnovers. Not a bad day at all.

"The catch" isn't even how we lost that game. It was Danny White's choke fucking fumble that ended it. "The catch" doesn't bother me one bit, it was a great play.
