I have a screenplay I've shopped called "Getting Ahead" set in a near future where medical science has advanced to where head transplants can be reliably done for those who can afford it. My protaganist is 88 and his head is transplanted on a healthy 24 year old body. His face slowly takes on...

I'd probably still be doing it if the law hadn't gotten so touchy about it. Used to be if you beat some puke up it was "mutual combat" but in the mid 90s they started taking pugilists to jail on assault charges. Coincidence that I was in my early 30s at the time? Anyway yeah, one day I just woke...

Same here. For me it sorta coincided with the law getting serious about assault charges, and "mutual combat" exceptions going out the window.

I said that in real time actually. That if your decision IS to punt you must at THE VERY LEAST try to draw them offsides first. There's NO risk associated with trying it. And the 5 yards makes no difference if they don't jump. I don't think Ginger's ever tried to draw anyone off.

Wrong. I explained my methodology earlier. It's a 1-6 scale based on how sure I am we'll win. 4 is pretty damned sure. I usually don't go above 2.

I don't think there was any real-time reasoning. He just defaulted to his normal coward reaction, then tried to rationalize it later. His first instinct was surrender and he went with it. Now, of course his rationalization is idiotic. Most are. It never entered his mind to even try to draw them...

I bet Jacksonville wishes it could take that away. LOL

I'd go if I were near an away game. They're always fun. Although, remember a Cowboys fan was shot at Landover after a Cowboys win a couple-three years back.

Just looked it up, officially it was their 42. Kicking the FG there is the suck if you miss, but if you make it makes them need a TD to win and a FG to keep OT going. Really needed to either go for it there or kick the FG miss or no. The punt is just, surrender.

Cowboys vs Other NFL Teams All-Time

Yeah I know all of that, but often times people paste from old sources. I assume it's the Ravens.

That would have been something like a 72 yard FG.

They're gonna be a tough out though. They beat Carolina today on a great late red zone defensive stop.

I assume that's the Ravens? Although I do know the Baltimore Colts were an early thorn in our side. But the late 70s thru the mid-80s might have taken care of that.

Again, there was no risk associated with that go. Let's see the lily liver next time all the chips are on the table, if he goes for it THEN, then there's a case to be made.. You're pretending we don't lead the league in going for and making 4th and short since 2015. BUT WE NEVER DO IT WITH THE...

I'm never big on paying a RB a big long term deal but truly do you see any future draftee who's the absolute total package Zeke is? Especially in pass blocking abilities? He does it all - run, catch, pass block. And all extremely well. That's rare to find.

Yeah that's a real deal thing that's NOT a product of the times like Romo's team passing records were.

We just cracked 'em like a nut on that one. Beas in pre snap motion against the grain really buffaloed their linebackers big time.
