    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

What bearing does that have on back-up QB for next if Romo got hurt this year (today)?

Don't be so sure. In any event, it won't be here.

    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

You're going off the grid. If Sanchez had a decent game, he'd be a commodity as a back-up QB. Do you disagree?

    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

If Sanchez would have had a decent game and proven that he's a quality back up, Moore would be gone. Moore is not an NFL QB.

    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

So if Sanchez played today well you don't think he had a shot to remain our back-up? Or have a shot on another team's roster?

None but you're asking a question that you and I know will never happen and for many different reasons, not the least of which is Romo still wants to play and he has some leverage with his salary. A QB controversy next year will split this team in half.

By the same token, you don't think Sanchez is playing his way out of a job next year? These games may be meaningless in the playoff picture but they're still valuable for evaluation purposes.

I think Romo would want to and I'd want him to as well.

    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

Dooms, you've been talking really stupid here lately. That was a mini audition for other teams. And the price just went up. Had Romo come out and laid an egg, the best we could have hoped for is a late round pick.

    2016 NFL Week #17: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-9)

If you don't think it matters to Romo and the team, then you're a fool. The guy was basically playing for his future and only had one series to do it. That was clutch. And in typical Cowboys fashion, they pull him. Jerry just upped the ante for Romo. This team has used that guy more than a...

    Tony Romo - Lovable Loser

My memory is shot after last night and I'm too lazy to look it up but I wouldn't call Orton's performance "brilliant" by any stretch.

    Tony Romo - Lovable Loser

Exactly. The disrespect of the man that made Jerry billions and Garrett millions is fucking stupid. Many, if not most, Cowboys fans are stupid. Romo has single handedly kept guys like Wade Phillips, Garrett, Wade Wilson, etc. employed for years. These same idiot fans booed Aikman at the tail...

Romo to see action...according to Schefter

So I'm guessing that you believe Sanchez should be the back-up for the playoffs?

Romo to see action...according to Schefter

I've seen this all before. I thought RGIII had a bright future and he tanked. I thought Nick Foles was a perfect fit for Philly and put up some incredible numbers when called into service (after an injury) and he tanked. Right now, Dak has to prove to me that he can carry this team like a...

Romo to see action...according to Schefter

You're so blinded that you can't even see the contradiction in your post. If he's a "loveable loser," then why do you even care? Let the team run with Dak and Sanchez.

Romo to see action...according to Schefter

Another guy that wants to bag on the guy that carried this franchise and kept scrubs like Garrett employed. I just find this funny when guys say Romo sucks, he's done, he's fragile, Dak's the man, Dak's gonna do what Romo couldn't, etc. but then want to keep him around to save Dak's (and the...
