I missed all the fun last night.

Werder just said on Ben and Skin that he's been told (snicker) that we'd only trade Jenkins for a good pick, and we don't expect that to happen with his injury. So we'll probably keep him. And yeah, bb, as usual Jenkins is a bum we need to jettison ASAP. But of course he has tons of trade...

    Cowboys call to Claiborne

Yeah, very likable kid. And even thought he's a fat disgusting slob, Ryan is pretty great there, too. It's no wonder his players love playing for him.

    Closer look at the trade

You watch a lot of SEC ball, right? What do you think about Claiborne's ultimate upside as a pro?

Ok then. Stephen trying to gloat like a jack ass.

Mike Lombardi on KTCK- recap by IR

No, Jenkins was damn good in 2009. If Claiborne plays like he did that year we'll all be happy with him. Biggest question with Jenkins is his health.

This is sort of like asking Niagra Falls to stop flowing.

Story on trade from Rams side

Really surprised they didn't hold out for more. You know Jerry would've given that 5th, probably even a 4th.

Jones hints at move into 2nd rd

    What? A 1st and a 4th for a 2nd? Hell no.

    Cowboys select Morris Claiborne

Can't see how he's worth even a 4th to anyone.

    Cowboys select Morris Claiborne

That was surprising. Not sure why it didn't cost more than that, but good thing. And Bailey was more athletic than Claiborne. But maybe Claiborne's instincts and fluidity make up for it.

    2012 NFL Draft Chatter...

I think I know how it would be spun: "The fact that we never heard this just proves that Garrett has everything on lockdown! He's in charge now!"

    2012 NFL Draft Chatter...

I'd love it if we took Glenn if only because none of the "sources" have had him.

    Where's Goose's final mock?

DMN idiotically re-assigned him to columnist, so he's not doing the draft like he used to.

Analyst: Hightower ‘looks more explosive than Upshaw off the edge’

Well, I think Bill Jones had us trading down and putting him at Spencer's spot... But yeah, unfortunately he's probably one of those really good players the Steelers or Patriots end up with.

    Happy Draft Day Universors!

Same here. The fun of the draft for me is watching players during the college year and picking out players you think will be good pros, or guys who are overrated. The reading of a zillion mock drafts a day and worshipping the internet draft gurus blogging from mom's basement wears me out...

Sturm: The Morning Of: The 2012 NFL Draft

Eh, if you go from 14 to 7, I don't think you get a 5th back. If anything it's going to cost more than that second rounder to move up.
