Same here. In our defense, I think the talent was there. He was/is just lazy and not very driven.

I'm thinking Old Man Houck had just lost it. I know Jerry relies on him heavily, probably more than anyone for OL advice. Either he thought the guys he had were better than they were or he couldn't recognize good young players anymore, or both.

It's funny how once FA and the draft process starts up, people focus on the players and forget about coaching. You don't get rid of all these top shelf players (Romo, Ware, Witten) until you give them one more chance with a real coach who knows what he's doing. One more underachieving year...
