    2013 NFL Draft Thread

Anyone else like Elam a little less once they found out he was Abe's brother? :awkward Personally I thought Elam looked pretty good at the combine. He's short, but he's got the bulk and I thought he moved pretty well. Can't say I ever watched him at Florida, though.

2013 NFL Draft : Dallas Cowboys Spotlight

Stretch Smith says not to dismiss Eifert at 18... Says we really like him. I'd hate it, too, only because this regime has proven it can't judge TEs very well or even use them well once they get them.

I want this guy to be a Dallas Cowboy post draft weekend...

theebs can probably answer better, but I think he's pretty plugged in from the Babe connection. But he also loves to talk about the draft and throw out his own original ideas on players and what he thinks we should do, too. It's kinda cool to have someone in the media who admits he's a draft...

I want this guy to be a Dallas Cowboy post draft weekend...

He'd definitely be a fan favorite as he was at NU (and here he'd have the hometown thing going too) because his effort level is off the charts, but I don't know if he's a good enough athlete to be any good at this level. He's one of those guys that as much as you admire how hard he plays, he's...

2013 NFL Draft : Dallas Cowboys Spotlight

LOL And my first thought was Austin, too. But as several of us have said, do you trust Garrett to be inventive enough to get him the ball where he can do the most damage? No. He'd probably use him just like Ogletree.

What does this mean? Are there questions about him off the field?

Same here, and I think he or Day wins. They both looked super solid yesterday. I like Cabrera, too, but he tends to be streaky and I almost can't see him hitting it that well two days (or 2.5 really) in a row.

The facts and the timeline on this have been sort of murky, but I believe Ridley said they looked at the video before he finished and didn't find anything wrong with the drop, so they didn't talk to him about it. I believe Tiger said yesterday the first time they talked to him was yesterday...

Yeah, but the problem is that he didn't drop appropriately, and he knew it. Maybe not at the time -- I'm not saying he was cheating -- but he would have known shortly afterwards that he screwed up. And as long as this game has gone on, if you sign an incorrect scorecard, you're DQ'd. Seems...

    Nukes

Well we aren't guessing about NK having them. We know they do. It's just a matter of how small they are, and if they don't have miniaturized ones right now, it's only a matter of time until they do. Same thing on the range of their missiles. Maybe they can't reach us now, but they soon will...

I've never understood why I'm supposed to like someone just because he's good at a sport, or anything else really. The guy is a complete jerk and always has been (long before all the whore running stories came out). I think I'll hope someone else wins.

Where would McClain even play in this defense? With his lack of speed he doesn't fit at all.

Pitiful... And yet they've made the playoffs two years in a row while we've sat home and scratched 8-8 ass.

    North Korea

Not that I've researched it a lot lately, but yeah, the China of today can't like them acting like idiots any more than anyone else. Makes you worry a little bit that maybe they don't have as much control over NK as they used to. Everyone blames the new kid dictator, but I hope some of the...

    North Korea

If it weren't a serious topic it would be funny how hard they try to build some leverage for negotiations and everyone pretty much ignores them. Say they were stupid enough to fire a missile in our direction, even if it didn't have the range to reach us, and we shot it down. What would be our...

What RB do you want in which round?

I kind of like Joseph Randle. Not flashy but solid and dependable, understands the passing game, and shouldn't cost a high pick. Murray is pretty good -- we don't need to use a high pick on a RB.
