Meh, they became BFFs a few years ago when Garrett went and kissed his ass. He is a great politician, after all. There's no way he even meant that seriously. He has this extremely dour tone and super dry sense of humor on that radio show. If he truly thinks this is a better coaching job...

That's a good point. This current schedule of Romo taking the heaviest practice day off every week would be great for developing a young QB. And you know Romo will be on that schedule for the rest of his career. I don't think they'll ever admit, "This is Romo's last great year", though, and...

Eh, I'm kind of in the middle. Don't think all the screaming really motivates anyone... I think that stuff is way overrated. But I don't know if it hurts much, either. Most of his teammates probably just roll their eyes and deal with it.

I'd agree with that. Not that I necessarily think that means anything for the future, but for 2014 I'd agree with it.

Yeah, I don't get this line of thinking. So if someone expected five wins this year (which was crazy IMO), the minute we got to 6-1 the season was a success? Even if we lost our last 9 games in a row? BTW, those 7-win projections wouldn't have been wrong if Tony's back had never recovered...

I thought it was very possible to win 9 games, or even 10. Nobody expected us to win 13 or even 11 games in 2007. Why wasn't that year seen as a success?
