I think it's pretty proven that the Cowboys get incredible ratings on Thanksgiving even then they play terrible teams. That's why for years we played bottom-feeders like the Jets and Raiders on that day.
And besides, I bet the suspension gets appealed down so we're not playing them his first...
Yep. At least by the mid-second, and late in the first wouldn't surprise me at all. Still like him better than most and it only takes one team.
Been thinking, people hate these spread QBs... What if Kelly went after him. I could see it.
Didn't Goodell change Brent's suspension to allow him to start practicing with the team a few weeks before his official reinstatement? Wonder if something like that happens here... He can just claim it was moved up for "good behavior" or something.
Also, I bet this gets appealed down a couple...
Carden looks just terrible to me. Classic Air Raid system QB who can't play in the NFL. Doesn't matter how much leadership and smarts you have if you don't have an arm, which even McShay admits is a problem.
What about Adullah? We haven't talked as much about him. He might be too small to...
Also, without quoting them all, he says Ajayi can play fine now, it's a longevity problem. Wonder if he's had a scope or two that removed cartilage.
Also confirmed Gurley's re-checks look just fine and he should/could go mid-first.
My guess is that Dallas is where he wants to go, and they don't like the idea of giving in to his demands.
And really, I don't blame them.
(dammit, bb beat me to it)
I don't think anyone knows... He's a top-half of the first talent wise, but he has had big issues. Because it only takes one team to take a chance on him, I would be he goes in the first easily.
That's unless all the teams know info on him that is really damning.
Because he's way more talented. The guy could be legitimately great. This could be another Dez type situation where you get a megatalent at the bottom of the first.
