By all means count them and then tell me where our drafting has been so good lately that we have all this depth. You're in luck though, at least on the DL. Even if you've lost 2 fingers in an industrial accident, you still have enough fingers left to tally up our DL depth that we drafted.

So we should go back 10 years when BP was here as evidence that we've drafting pretty good lately?

I don't know. We've done pretty well in round 1 lately but not too well later in the draft.

I'm sorry dbair, but, we have atrocious depth. The "issue" was about the myth that we've had outstanding drafts or have turn the corner. I'm glad you liked it but I expected you would; you're one of the brightest guys on the board.

No, but he was competing against a 2nd round pick and a guy Jerry gave 3 million dollars to. As raw as he was, it's amazing folks thought he was better (at that time) than the others.

Gregory, Crawford and DLaw since 2007. Throw in Hardy who's a FA. That's not great drafting on the DL over a 9 year span. Who are the LB'ers? Lee, of course, and then there's a FA in Ro McClain. Hitchens is a fill in and adds value but where have we done well in the draft with LBers? OL...

Because it's a myth. We hit on our 1st round pick and then occasionally hit on some picks after that. Our depth is atrocious.

Last year bought Garrett years of potential mediocrity. He's firmly entrenched after one good season in 4 attempts. I'm not liking what I'm seeing during the pre-season ut, at the very least, this season should tell us a lot about where this team is going.

Why is it every time you watch this team in pre-season you get this feeling of impending doom? The more this pre-season goes on, the more I start to think last season was an aberration......
