Dallas local TV ratings should make the rest of the NFL nervous

Amen. This issue transcends fandom. It's bad for the league and it's bad for the game. But, to me, the genie has been let out of the bottle. They could have fixed this when it reared it's ugly head but they didn't. Lastly, the CBA will be the final nail in the NFL's coffin. They'll spend...

Dallas local TV ratings should make the rest of the NFL nervous

Sure all those things play a role in the declining viewership. So that begs the question....why make matters worse? We've been at war for years. It doesn't matter what side of the aisle your on. Why insult the flag, the country and the men and women who sacrificed? Even if you claim that's...

Dallas local TV ratings should make the rest of the NFL nervous

I do the "what if" all the time Red. But when I really look at it honestly, a lot of things would have to change in Dallas that will probably never happen like ownership, front office structure, etc. And if I'm around long enough, I have Spalding Jones to look forward to. No thanks.......

Dallas local TV ratings should make the rest of the NFL nervous

I tuned out last night after the Nike commercial. As I type this, I don't know who won and I don't care.

    Your takes on Dak..

I guess this is how you play a team lead by a franchise QB........ 1039914390814908421

Who Ya Got? Week 2 - New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys

This game has the making of a real stinker but you never know. If Dak takes the heat to heart, he may just come out of his shell and start throwing downfield. The problem is, I'm not sure there are any real threats to throw to. The D may have to win this one.....

It’s time to move on from Dez

Spot on Dooms, especially the bolded part. And I think these high octane personalities respect that approach more.

It’s time to move on from Dez

Agree 100%. Dez was enabled here. And even with all his antics (cough....cough....I mean passion), he was still re-signed and given a huge contract. BB and Brady would never put up with that, nor would the rest of the team.

5 thoughts from Cowboys' season-opening loss at Carolina

If you got used to this quality of football and defend it, than you can easily get used to this board. Accepting what is on the field now and over the past 8 years (let alone 23 years) should be unacceptable. I guess my question is how can you be so accepting of that and be so critical of this...

5 thoughts from Cowboys' season-opening loss at Carolina

Sean Lee and Tyrone Smith both had less than stellar games. I actually think Smith is a bigger issue. LT's are found at the top of the draft and having to find a critical skill position, in addition to (possibly) QB, will be a tough challenge for this team.

Who Ya Got? Week 2 - New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys

Giants. The disturbing pattern on offense continues.

It’s time to move on from Dez

If there's one team that has proven it can keep veteran divas in check it's BB and the Patriots. Randy Moss had three solid years there.

    Your takes on Dak..

I'm glad he didn't turn the ball over but so what? We lost. Are we supposed to take solace in the fact that he didn't throw an INT?

    Your takes on Dak..

You guys have to understand. The culture in Dallas is much the same as other dysfunctional places. Broaddus was a scout but got shit canned. By all accounts, he probably didn't so well but I do, as a fan, give him props for having a job with a pro-team. Broaddus is going to levitate towards...

    Pitchforks and Torches

A real man right here^^^^^ Today's men can't do right by straight women. Old school guys think they can turn lesbians straight and would work hard to achieve that goal.

5 thoughts from Cowboys' season-opening loss at Carolina

It probably looks that way because when we utilize it, the D is in prevent and is willing to give up short passes. It's probably more indicative of the D more so than the efficiency of the offense.
