    Let the McCarthy era begin

One thing McCarthy's history shows, "hope" isn't ever his plan.

    McCarthy - Zimmer. Same thing

Well. You're certainly gonna see big changes at DL, LB, likely the secondary, most of which are both economic and performance related.

    Verifies what I was saying.

Such ridiculous nonsense, really. Brett pushed Brett outta there. Completely ignorant statement. Looked and performed like shit his first year, this after benchwarning behind Favre for three years. McCarthy developed him into what you saw later. It's well documented, as pointed out before.

That's another reason I see roster changes coming. The "check collectors" as Michael Irvin called them, gonna be gone.

    McCarthy - Zimmer. Same thing

It doesn't necessarily have to. Good depth can be had on the cheap.

People forget the GREAT D green bay had that super bowl year. It's almost like you gotta have a great D to win the thing, regardless of who your QB is. Coincidence? Or, kind of bumbling around without McCarthy?

    Let the McCarthy era begin

Nobody said anything about complete rebuilding. There WILL be roster changes, we have no choice in some of them especially in the DL. It's what Jerruh would consider a "reload" not a rebuild, since like the idiot he is, he thinks he has all the hay in the barn when it comes to our roster. We...

    Let the McCarthy era begin

There will be a good-sized roster overhaul, starting with the Defensive line. "Check collectors" will be gone as well. Hopefully there will be personnel upgrades in the secondary. I'd like to see us draft or sign a REAL fullback and USE him, and we could use an upgrade to the TE spot as well...

Will Jason Garrett get another head coaching job in the NFL?

What makes you think he would "suffer?" Would be paid around 6 million a year if not more, and never seemed to mind losing, at all. Ever. He'd be a happy camper, clapping all along the way.

Will Jason Garrett get another head coaching job in the NFL?

No doubt Dingbat Dilfer will be saying, "I don't understand why Jason Garrett wasn't even looked at, wasn't even considered..."

    Let the McCarthy era begin

We covered this on another thread. MM developed Rodgers. Rodgers didn't carry that SB team. The defense did. MM developed that TEAM. Rodgers was 6-10 his first season and looked like a bust

Will Jason Garrett get another head coaching job in the NFL?

I answered this stupid Dilfer crap before, and it's based on what other coaches and GMs say. But what the fuck are they gonna say? NONE of them are gonna be honest. They're not gonna be objective in any way, they're not gonna say "yeah he sucks." They're gonna gladhand of course. Dilfer is too...

Money spent does not equal talent. Where we draft people does not equal talent. And perhaps you have a reading comprehension problem, because apparently you didn't understand what I wrote. Either that or you're making up your own version of what I wrote and replying to your made up version...

    Let the McCarthy era begin

Here's Sturm's take from there: By Bob Sturm 4h ago I witnessed every single snap of the Mike McCarthy era in Green Bay. It isn’t often that the two teams that I follow most closely in the NFL overlap, but this is probably the most significant one in a long, long time (no disrespect to...

    McCarthy - Zimmer. Same thing

Everybody forgets how silly Rodgers looked his first year as starter, going 6-10. And how silly WE made him look in our first meeting that year. He was developed. McCarthy developed him. McCarthy developed that team. If he was so fucking great that he could win a SB by himself, he would have...

    McCarthy - Zimmer. Same thing

I guess you didn't read what I said. Please do so. Note I didn't use the term "all." I said "just about any." And I guess you didn't backread. MM developed AR. It's well documented and even being talked about on Cowherd, NFL Live, and Sportscenter. AR also reaped the benefits of three years...

    McCarthy - Zimmer. Same thing

This is based no doubt, on your belief we have a "great roster" and are a "super talented team." As some other idiots are saying. As Jerruh believes. We don't and aren't. We lack DEPTH in all of the key positions. Our starters for the most part, really aren't all that great. We need a roster...
