Hopefully he'll suck. On a serious note, every team loves their draft right now. Nobody really knows until the pads come on. But, I don't think the Cowboys got better than the Eagles or Niners. And, again, everybody's draft looks good right now, but the Giants and Redskisn are on the Cowboys...

Whelp, looks like the Cowboys were not the only ones who apparently think LaPorta is the best TE in the draft. Didn't Detroit trade away another TE from Iowa who is likely better than LaPorta?

This exercise is probably more relevant to what a DT needs to do than how many times he can bench 225.

So will there be a team that shakes up the board by trading up into the top of round two for either Will Levis or Hooker?

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

I've seen worse QBs than Dak take their team to the SB. They need more parts around them than maybe the next guy. I do believe Dak is a good to very good QB depending on the day. But I don't even think he is the best QB in the NFC East. I think most people would say that Hurts likely has that...

A quote that I read basically stated that the Cowboys already told him to focus on the run. And Mazi's response was that while he wants to improve his rush he can't lose sight of what got him here. So my take is to not expect much of a pass rush for a couple of years. I think that's Osi's job...

Well, Youmans is reporting that the Chiefs were trying to trade with Dallas to get Mazi, so maybe we did good. Time will tell.

His interview on The Draft show sounds good anyway. And to be optimistic, people weren't enthused over Travis, Tyler etc. Personally, I think this is an obvious attempt to try to stop that QB sneak that Hurts does and to try to keep up with the eagles Jalen Carter and Davis. I still put the...

As of right now, pick 23, Hyatt is still available. I think I'd go Hyatt and see if I can get LaPorta in round 2. Let's see if he is there at 26

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Some of Romo's reputation was based on perception more so than reality. For example, sure, Cabo looked bad, but he and Witten were working. It's funny how nobody criticized Witten for not caring, yet he was there too...

Agreed. All three of those would spark me to get on the phone and see if I can drop back a bit. Not too much, but I'd be happy to get even an extra 6th and still get any of those. I wouldn't be worried about losing out on those players at 26.

Well, that's a theory that makes sense. I can see the Jets getting Rodgers a TE, but it does seem early for a TE. Are any of the TEs true first round picks?
