All draft picks come with risks, there are no sure things. Great size for the position and good enough speed and athletic ability, and he was ultra productive his 1 yr as a starter at a quality program. Seems like a player on the rise and fills a position of OBVIOUS need for us.

Would have to be a guess because Hurst has been a guy the Cowboys haven't seemed to pay much attention to at all so far. They do have a coach on our staff that knows him pretty well though (Greg Jackson) so maybe they feel good enough about him to take him without a formal visit or workout.

Neither one of those is strange in todays NFL. Most teams are in shotgun on obvious pass downs, and some teams are in shotgun even more than that.
