It’s time to move on from Dez

Who cares who else had a good year? He gets paid a lot of fucking money to do his job. He can't control how or when a QB throws him the ball, or how an opposing defense plays him. But HE CAN CONTROL how he catches damn passes and how well he runs and gives effort on his routes, and on those two...

It’s time to move on from Dez

Dez Bryant’s future remains in doubt but decision could come sooner than later Posted by Charean Williams on April 8, 2018, 10:09 PM EDT When asked about Dez Bryant on Sunday night, Jason Garrett, La'el Collins and Travis Frederick all had the same line: “He’s on our football team.” Yes, he...

It’s time to move on from Dez

Please tell me how the coaching caused Dez to drop all those passes last yr, something he had never done previously. I would EXPECT a WR paid like one of the top players in the league to catch most of those that he dropped.

DMN: Why the Cowboys need to start wheeling and dealing right now

That's how we ended up with Cory Fleming. SF rescinded the draft rights to him in 1994 due to cap space issues they supposedly had. Fleming was a 3rd rd pick, and at the time nobody had any clue why the Niners will just give up the right to a guy they picked that high. A couple years later it...

DMN: Why the Cowboys need to start wheeling and dealing right now

He got him to say yes, nobody else did before that. Only good coaching decision Jerry ever made.

Yep, and it hasn't returned since either. 23+ years now.

DMN: Why the Cowboys need to start wheeling and dealing right now

Possibly, although we had a slew of injuries that year too. There was the Big E crash, Aikman getting his thumb/hand taken out by our own player in practice (never looked the same that season after that either). Emmitt was never really right with the hamstrings. We had Larry Allen playing on two...

DMN: Why the Cowboys need to start wheeling and dealing right now

Yep, was thinking the same thing when responding to that guys first post. They signed half the pro bowl defense that offseason it seemed, and had absolutely no cap whatsoever for it. League didn't punish the Niners for cap evasion until later in the 90s. Deion signed the most bogus contract in...

DMN: Why the Cowboys need to start wheeling and dealing right now

He never knew how to win. he made one good decision his entire time as an owner here, hired Jimmy Johnson and put him in charge. Deserves all sorts of kudos for that, awesome decision and changed the franchise. Since that, he's been an utter failure as owner and GM.

2018 Dallas Cowboys Offseason Roster Moves

I have no idea who Marcus Mosher is, but after reading him publicly saying Jameil Showers should be a NFL QB, I've come to the obvious conclusion that he is 100% clueless.

It’s time to move on from Dez

If this was said (and it's Fisher reporting it, so I have doubts) how is anything wrong with it? It's accurate and something people who get paid to analyze the game have been saying publicly for 2-3 years now. Fisher says the guy "should be fired immediately". Fucking idiot. 982408860639137792

    2018 NFL Draft Thread

I think LVE and Evans would have to be considered as well, especially LVE who they seem to be spending a lot of time on. Plus MLB is a massive hole today. If Roquan Smith falls far enough, could see them thinking about a move up for him too.

If they draft Landry, it could be a sign that this might be Demarcus Lawrence's last year here. If Landry pans out, he could be a RDE and they could then move Taco to LDE, which seems like his best NFL fit to me.

    2018 NFL Draft Thread

I didn't realize till today that Miami DT Kendrick Norton is the son of former Cowboy LB Ken Norton. Norton's kid is 6'3, 314lbs and regarded as a decent 1T prospect that could be had on day 3. Really long arms and large hands too. Interesting DT prospect if we don't address it earlier. He had...
