While Deion did help us in 95, it was short-sighted. We lost some starters and we were in salary cap hell for years. the Quincy Carter/Ryan Leaf/Chad Hutchinson handing off the ball to Troy Hambrick were some long, lean years.

A lot of Jerry supporters say this line..cough, cough Hostile, dbair...cough... but none of them will admit (or accept) that in the end, Jerry has the final say. He gets swayed from time to time but he will still do what he wants to do most of the time.

The Deion story makes me think Stephen is the smarter, big picture guy.

I would reserve Dez for "crucial" punt reurns and kick returns. Maybe mix him in every once in a while to keep him from getting rusty. The guy is so violent and he doesn't have an ounce of caution in him. I just can't risk him back there everytime.
