    Remember when...

His playcalling was a tad predictable. Some of us deemed his playbook "Tecmo Bowl" Still, as a Head Coach I'm a fan of the attitude and discipline he's brought to the team. I also like the cool, calm sideline demeanor.

Bang for buck not close with Gurode, Costa

Mathis has started 7 games over last 2 years, Holland 2. Mathis has played in 25 games over last 2 years, Holland 14. By the way, my initial point was the Eagles made more of an attempt to upgrade their roster than we did this off-season. I've yet to see anyone prove that wrong.

they didn't do any of those things you suggested we could have done. Our faith in Nagy is my issue. Our lack of planning or poor planning is my issue. If we brought back Leonard Davis and Nagy beat him out in camp, I don't have an issue. He beat out no one.

Bang for buck not close with Gurode, Costa

If Nagy was starting because two or three of the veteran players we planned on starting were hurt, I wouldn't be upset. Our plan was Holland (garbage), Arkin, or Nagy from the get go. That is and always was my issue. You compared us to the Eagles O-Line situation. They were impacted by injuries...

Bang for buck not close with Gurode, Costa

Jackson is coming off of injuries. That's why he was "demoted". Jackson has held the starting center spot since 2006 but comes off two major surgeries. He missed the last two games of the 2009 season after tearing his anterior-cruciate ligament and he missed almost the entire year last season...

Bang for buck not close with Gurode, Costa

Like us, they are starting their first round pick. The other guys are only starting because of injuries to Jamaal Jackson, Winston Justice, and Ryan Harris. Not quite the same thing.

OFFICIAL: Texas A&M leaving Big "12"

The Pac-12 wants Oklahoma and OK State bad. They want Texas too but the Pac-12 splits their money evenly and Texas wants a bigger share. So I could see them pushing hard for the Sooners, the Cowboys, Texas Tech, and a 4th school. The Pac-12 wants no part of the religious schools otherwise I...

OFFICIAL: Texas A&M leaving Big "12"

I'd be glad if they took BYU because they just joined my daughter's conference (in all sports except football) and completely ruined their schedule.

Wes Bunting Reviews the 2011 Corner Class

My take... Like Minnifield. Not so high on Denard. Very high on Jenkins, assuming he gets his off-field isues in order. Fleming is going to put up crazy combine numbers but I'd like to watch him more this year. Underclassmen everyone's best pal sdogo likes Brandon Boykin from Georgia a lot...

OFFICIAL: Texas A&M leaving Big "12"

The Big 12 needs to scramble and add SMU and Houston (too late on TCU) or thye won't exist much longer. Hello Pac-16.

They won the division and added Nnamdi Asomugha, Cullen Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Jason Babin, Ronnie Brown, Ryan Harris, Vince Young, Steve Smith, Jarrad Page, and return specialist Johnnie Lee Higgins. We went 6-10 and added Kenyon Coleman and Abram Elam.

    Stupid Sensbaugh quote

Like the accountability we have with Dave Campo, Alan Ball, Igor Olshansky, Keith Brooking, and Gerald Sensabaugh and their performances from last season? Or the competition we had at left guard this training camp?

    Stupid Sensbaugh quote

As (over)stated by me several times, cutting Gurode now doesn't make a ton of sense. If they would have cut him when they booted Bigg and Colombo, I still wouldn't have liked it, but it would have made more sense. He isn't a locker room cancer and from everything I've read or heard, liked by...

    Stupid Sensbaugh quote

Can't stand Sensabaugh but that quote doesn't bother me at all. The Cowboys plan this off-season, or lack thereof one, is perplexing.

Archer: Nagy will be the starter against the Jets

Nope, suggesting we shouldn't have taken the position so lightly and addressed it with a veteran free agent. From the get go, our choices were : Holland a 4th round pick a 7th round pick
