Most athletes think they are invincible. The money he would generate in advertising (for a crossover to football) would make him and Nike a ton of money. If there is no NBA season, he only gets endorsement money. Nike sells less shoes if there are no NBA games to showcase their endorsed players.

I really like the Strong Safety from Texas, #4 Kenny Vaccaro. I was watching a game last year to check out Blake Gideon but Vaccaro stood out. He was outstanding in the Longhorns spring game and he looks damn good today vs UCLA.

At the end Parcells could sill gameplan with the best of them. He just couldn't make halftime adjustments for crap. Go back and check the amount of times we were winning or were in the game in the 1st half and then lost in the 2nd half. Teams adjusted to what were were doing, we didn't.
