    2011 Season Game Threads Mega-Merge

Detroit has nothing to be ashamed of. They showed up tonight, Saints are just better.

Seems like a safe bet. 14th may also be a potential spot for Penn State DL Devon Still or Michigan State DL Jerel Worthy. I don't want either player at 14 but if we sit out of free agency AND DeCastro is gone, Jerry may get desperate for help on Defense. Now make the pick for the Ravens...

    NFL Coaching Change Chatter Thread

I remember reading something a while back saying Garrett really likes/respects Raheem Morris. I was hoping he would be our next Secondary Coach.

It's a good pick. He may go in the 3rd round, this is not a deep draft for TE's.

I guess technically it was the 2010 off-season. 2010 Off-season = no free agent additions (or visits) 2011 Off-season = We "stole" Abe Elam and Kenyon Coleman from the mighty Browns 2012 Off-season = Please Jerry, make a valid effort to improve this team.

In 2009, the year we were supposed to be the first team to play in their own house for the Superbowl, we didn't sign a single free agent. We didn't even bring in one potential free agent for a visit. So not only do we overestimate our own talent, we're arrogant asses about it too.

    Jason Garrett meets with coaches

I was semi-excited when Jerry was spouting off last year that Jason had all of the control. Then, we retained Campo, and I concluded that either Jerry is still calling the shots or Jason is equally as stupid.

Also, Rackley played at a smaller football program than Arkin yet was more NFL ready.

    Nicks or DeCastro

I didn't watch a lot of Jaguar football this year. I saw a game early and a game late and in both, he was starting. Regardless, he played a lot more than Arkin. We shouldn't be ready to label Arkin a bust but we should be worried that despite a revolving door at left guard, he was never considered.

    Nicks or DeCastro

Rackley started. I don't think Arkin played a down. Now remember David, a player isn't automatically better than the other guy just because he has a star on his helmet. Still, DeMarco Murray > Rackley
