Not sure about that. Gronkowski was a 1st rounder without the injury. Hernandez was a beast at Florida, but there was some concern about his (lack of) height. Graham was the darling of the Senior Bowl. Teams were swooning over him.

All draft picks are gambles but as an organization we have a recent history of taking more risky picks in the mid-rounds (3rd, 4th, 5th). Personally, I feel this is Jerry trying to show he can "steal" a player. I'd like to see us take less draft risks until we are a perennial playoff team again.
