2011 Mel Kiper Jr. Invitational Report Card....

It's like playing poker when there is no money on the line, some fools will bet it all because they have nothing to lose. To keep it interesting for all players involved you have to act as though everything matters. Carolina had the worst draft because they gave up a ton to reach for a CB.

2011 Mel Kiper Jr. Invitational Report Card....

I can and do. What makes his draft worse is the fact that he had the chance to do something special but ended up with a bunch of JAGs.

robbing is one thing, but that trade was just rediculous. Giving up a top 5 and top 40 pick to reach on a CB is rediculous. I cannot reward rediculous.

Or someone thought they were playing with Monopoly money and didn't care about 2012 draft picks.

2011 Mel Kiper Jr. Invitational Report Card....

Cherry-picking isn't going to win this for you. If I would've had time to grade drafts the Patriots wouldn't have won because they get a 1 for lack of reality.

It also reached well beyond the bounds of reality, which is what you were trying to prevent by denying player trades. I cannot reward someone for making Madden trades.

He was a shark. He wanted me to trade down 15 places in the 2nd for a 5th round pick.

2011 Mel Kiper Jr. Invitational Report Card....

As for who won, I cannot give the win to New England simply because of an idiotic trade. Perhaps there should be some kind of rule to help managers who do not know what they are doing save themselves from horrible trades.

2011 Mel Kiper Jr. Invitational Report Card....

What did the Seahawks do to deserve the worst grade? I only had a 1st, 2nd and 4th to work with because the 3rd was traded for Charlie Whitehurst. I turned that into a first next year and two second round picks. Is it because you cannot find Cannon on Kiper or McShay lists? Maybe it was a...

Eagles may look to add Asomugha

They only owe Samuel $6 million this year but he goes up to $8.4 and $10.4 over the next two. I would sign Asomugha and cut Samuel in the 2011 season just like I would sign Asomugha and cut Newman this year. They will probably need Samuel to renegotiate his contract next year and you know he...

Lara Logan of CBS News Was Attacked and Sexually Assaulted in Egypt

Yet another case of the reporter becoming the story. I wonder how many others were treated the same way but we ignored it because it wasn't a reporter or an American. I have sympathy for her but she knew the danger (per the "they called me a spy" story) and decided to go in anyways.

League not considering 18 games with 16-per-player max

The Cowboys would never have a chance to play Pittsburgh, New England or Indianapolis. On paper it is a good idea but the chance to miss on epic regular season games is too big.

DC.com - Position Series: Austin, Bryant Headline Inexperienced WRs

I've been trying to figure out this Roy Williams $12M to cut deal. Here are the details to the contract: 10/19/2008: Signed a six-year, $54 million contract. The deal contains $26.6085 million guaranteed, including a $10 million option bonus in the second year and $2 million of Williams' 2010...

Schedule Could Be Boon For NFC East QBs

I'm gonna be pissed if this CBA crap ruins my fantasy football season. I have a new fail-proof approach to the draft that will have me winning multiple leagues.

Cowboys claim former OU linebacker Balogun off waivers

Right now it is a process of getting bodies into camp (if camp even happens). One team's JAG may be another team's All-Pro starter. I don't know anything about this guy and he will probably end up as nothing but the successful teams will constantly bring in fresh bodies like this to try them...

Yep, if it isn't about an overrated USC player it just isn't interesting.

Free-agent analysis: Cowboys content at QB with current three

McGee did enough for me to make him the second string. He was not impressive by any account but he also didn't turn the ball over like Kitna did. The fact that we were 4-4 under Kitna was a miracle and nothing more. We won and lost based on our defense, not our backup QB. If Rob fixes the D...

    Kitna: 2011: $2.6 million, 2012: $3.1 million, 2013: $2.9 million, 2014: Free Agent McGee: 2011: $480,000, 2012: $565,000, 2013: Free Agent

What is Kitna doing for us that McGee can't? Neither is going to win the Super Bowl so I'll take the guy that has a smaller salary.
