NFLPA: No draft boycott, but a different "feel"

I'm boycotting the draft as well. Not that anyone will notice.

Cowboys expected to work out Dalton

How am I "ballwashing" McGee? I've never said he was worth the pick we took him at or that he is anything more than a backup. The fact is he is just as good as Kitna while costing $1.5m less and being more than 10 years younger. If you throw him out now you are stuck with Kitna, who should...

Report: If lockout is lifted, no salary cap in 2011

It would allow us to drop dead weight like Roy and Barber with no hit to the cap. We can and should drop Newman and his $8m salary as well. No cap would be great for us in cleaning up this roster.

Cowboys and the Curse of the 3rd round

The drafting was bad but so was the coaching. Some of those guys might have been good under a different staff.

Cowboys expected to work out Dalton

No one thinks he is "The Answer" but there is no question that he is at least as good as Kitna and fits into the backup roll. No point in throwing him out when Kitna is so close to retirement.

Cowboys expected to work out Dalton

You are a moron, I've never picked an Aggie over anyone because of school ties. Kitna wins those games because he has experience over McGee and nothing else. Kitna is also owed $2.2m to McGee's $500k. You talk by about throwing the old guys out yet you want to keep a 38 yr old QB. Kitna is going...

Cowboys can't afford to be players in free agency

Right now we have $94 million base salary committed to 48 players. Spin it how you want, that is bad. I can only see about $20m in cuts (and that is disregarding dead cap space) but we would have to replace those players somehow and we still need to re-sign some key FAs...

Cowboys expected to work out Dalton

Both McGee and Kitna are career backups. We should keep the cheaper, younger one and continue to draft for the next franchise QB. Kitna has zero upside to make me want to keep him around.

Cowboys' passive approach towards safety position is mystifying

Moron. I said I was exagerating about the glamor (plus it was more directed toward the Dez pick). LB is one of the higher profile positions on the defense, which is why LBs tend to win more awards and sell more jerseys than the other positions. It isn't up there with QB, WR or RB but it is...
