    Day After Thoughts- Cowboys survive

Well it was a win, it's better than a loss but it sure is hard to watch what we've seen in 3 of the last 4 weeks and be excited about this team. All in all it was a painful game to watch for many reasons. Ultimately I still believe we'll miss the playoffs, but with a 4-2 record they'll hang...

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Rashan Evans will likely be active and probably in the starting lineup vs the Rams in two weeks. But I do like what we saw of Bell, who only started playing that role after Overshown blew out his knee in preseason. That by the way was a huge loss, he looked like a really, really good player...

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

I still say Turpin ultimately fucked this up and should have just ran away, but the statement by the NFL pool reporter after the game saying "The Cowboy player is actively blocking the kicking team player" is pretty fucking lame. Who's blocking who here? It looks like the Chargers guy is using...

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Well he didnt lose the game, so there's that. Like I said pregame, my opinion of him isnt changing. He isnt the guy. But he was essentially the entire offense last night.

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Refs completely blew this. The rules state a member from the kicking team cannot block/push a member of the receiving team into the returner. On top of that there's the blatantly obvious hands to the face or facemask call that everyone can see. And for good measure, the ESPN ref "expert"...

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Definitely should have had one, and probably two picks today. Turning into a really good player, does need to clean up the double move thing though.

Definitely has more speed than LVE or Damone Clark. Made a number of really good plays tonight.

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Amazing factoid from the game. We ended up almost even on TOP despite LAC having the ball virtually the entire 3rd qtr. (they had 30:08, we had 29:52)

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Pollard only had 30 yds on 15 carries.

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

This is fine when its legit. But they called two completely bogus offsides calls tonight. At least in terms of who they actually called the penalty on. It didnt look like Fowler or Parsons were anywhere near offsides.

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Prescott played terrible in that game though. Other than the miss to Pollard I thought he had a pretty good game tonight, all things considered. Gallup had one really bad drop and probably should have caught that long for a TD (although he WAS getting held). Refs called seemingly every little...

2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Literally the only run game was Prescott. He had 40 yds on 7 carries and that was the most for BOTH teams. Pollard got nothing thanks to our shitpile OL and we stoned the Chargers run game all night.
