Yes, they have that right. And I have the right to bash them when they do. What some call "progress" isn't always good.

If Tony's career ended today, would you put him in?

Describe the moment you liked tony romo most

not really. less time in Cabo or less time wasted filming Papa John's commercials would probably benefit him and the team. the same goes for his boss.

    Bill Bates

so you would have disagreed with Hos when he called him the "legendary Bill Bates," right?

Describe the moment you liked tony romo most

Er, I'm more than aware that life isn't fair, like when the vacuous Kardashians make more than teachers, nurses, etc. I'm talking about what would be the norm "in a perfect world." Kids today are given trophies for accomplishing next to nothing, and athletes right out of college are awarded...

    Bill Bates

right, they were more discriminating back in the day. only the best had endorsement deals, and that should be the standard today. I don't wanna see fucking RG3's broke ass face at Subway.

    Bill Bates

Actually, he said that about Charlie Waters when he gave up 3 TDs vs the Rams in 1973. I wouldn't object to Bates being in the ROH, but spare me the "legend" talk. A treat just for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Enhs6K60Z8&feature=youtu.be

I don't condone that. It's disgraceful that a player like RG3 has endorsements lined up before he even takes a snap. How many products was Staubach endorsing before he won a Super Bowl? Like none. That should be the standard.

    Bucky Brooks:Romo Among Clutch QBs

He was a try-hard, scrappy overachiever but his play wasn't legendary. Great special teamer and adequate nickel back but no legend. There are a lot of non-legendary Cowboys who went to the Pro Bowl multiple times.

Hos went apeshit when I balked at him calling Bates "legendary." I like Bill and all, but he's not a Cowboy legend.

televising games made him date celebs and endorse products before he won anything?

Describe the moment you liked tony romo most

It's too late. He's too old to learn new tricks, like not throwing INTs off your back foot as you're falling backwards. And he violated Tuna's "don't be a celebrity quarterback" edict long ago.

If not push then groomed to be the heir apparent. The Packers didn't wait for Favre to be old and broken down before drafting his successor. Nor did they worry about his feelings.

Describe the moment you liked tony romo most

I'm not just talking about 2014. Competition was needed years ago but was never forthcoming. And now, because of Tony's contract and the owner's man crush, it won't be coming at all.
