I understand your point. Just seems to me at times that Dak's been going to quickly to the short pass or running it himself, which regardless of the reason isn't a good habit for a quarterback to fall into. And if that is the coaches faults it likely wouldn't get better with the same coaching...
I'm not talking about just Dez, or trying to justify his play and attitude by any means. Dak and Beasely have been off all year, and whatever he and Witten had the first 6 games or so disappeared into thin air.
I'm starting to wonder if an elite receiver can work in this offense right now. Chemistry with receivers is one of the areas Dak seems to have regressed in this season. There have been times where the only one he seems to easily be on the same page with is Zeke.
Interception of the year in the Saints/Falcon game. Ball fell out of the receiver's hands and landed on Lattimore's ass. Nobody seemed to realize it was still live, by the time they did he'd turned around and pulled it to his hands for the pick.
Going Cowboys purely on the hopes that Seattle is reeling from what Gurley did to them last week and Zeke can take advantage. Slim hope, I know, but at this point I"ll take what I can get.
Ah, the delusion is in the air...
