    Would we dare?

A couple things I do like are that Mayfield likes to throw downfield, and when he does he is accurate. I think his future depends on where he lands. If he went to NE I think he could be very good, dont see that nearly as likely here.

    Any baseball fans here?

The Astros do look tough, they got some guys that can absolutely rake.

    Any baseball fans here?

Gotta admit, Ohtani off to a nice start after a miserable spring. Trout used to be the only reason to follow that team.

    Would we dare?

I'd love to keep Dak around as a number 2 QB. I think he is ideal for something like that. If your QB goes down for 8 games he is exactly what the doctor ordered. If you need a QB to carry and elevate the team or win a road playoff game, I just dont see it. Not sure Mayfield is the guy I...

I really wish I could say you were full of shit, but we all know this likely plays out.

    Would we dare?

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hinted at where the team may go with the No. 19 overall pick in the draft. “There is some defensive talent that has a chance to drop,” Jones said via David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. “Therein lies your opportunity. … If a number of quarterbacks are taken, a...

The 2018 Debacle as I see it

You are starting to sound like an annual spring Kool-Aid drinker. I am not even going to go as far back as 1994 when all this shit started with Jerry's any of 500 coaches comment. Let's just stick to the Garrett era, you know two playoff appearances and one playoff win in eight years. What...

It’s time to move on from Dez

Probably Sanjay or whatever his name is. I doubt there is any divide. Everyone who isnt senile wants him gone.

It’s time to move on from Dez

In an article published today, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer quoted a Dallas Cowboys staff member who was critical of the performance of receiver Dez Bryant. The comment is indicative of what appears to be a movement by some in the organization to move on from Bryant. The article contained...

Jerry Jones steps down and hires Jimmy Johnson as the new GM

Raises hand. Time to resurrect the death thread.

My apathy is at an all-time high

So Omer, here is my take: In any pro football organization there are three critical positions. In order those would be GM, head coach, and QB. It should be obvious to even the casual fan that the Cowboys are at a HUGE disadvantage in the area of GM and HC, we will set the QB debate aside for...

Zeke's Offseason Eating Habits A Possible Concern

Giving him a second contract is not an option IMO, and I dont care if he is on a HOF track. I'd hate to think of the shape he'd been in if he really got paid.

It’s time to move on from Dez

Translation: Beasley better watch his ass too. Draft is deep round 2 through 4 for WRs so one will be the pick in that area.981288885417402371

Cuts, signings, trades and more from around the league

This is a big part of Belichicks brilliance and the difference between him and Jerry. Jerry sees the draft as jersey selling opportunities. Belichick sees it as four years of cheap labor to perpetuate his system.

    Cowboys and free agency

I posted this in another thread but I am really starting to believe that no matter what Stevie wants to find out if Dak is really the guy going forward. I am also starting to think that it is more than just about the money. Stevie probably thinks (rightfully so IMO) that Dak is a better QB...

Cuts, signings, trades and more from around the league

Welp, for those that had the OBJ dream to the Rams, that aint happenin. Cooks is another guy Belichick didnt want to pay, I admire that about Belichick, he doesnt want to pay anybody and five Lombardi's allows him to do that.
