I would say Garrett had no other option. He's already positioned himself as the players' buddy, and he can't exactly change his stripes now and become some tough guy. If he did he'd just look like even more of a phony than he already does and the players would just roll their eyes.
He thought...
He is, but he's only a freshman and I don't think he's as naturally skinny as RG3.
Plus he's not just a speed guy, but more slippery in the pocket, like Romo. I can see him becoming a good pocket passer.
Haven't Washington's recruiting classes been very middling at best?
Just shows what proper coaching and preparation can do. That game last night reminded me a little of the OU-Houston game where Houston looked more talented (even though they weren't) because they were obviously more physically...
My gosh, that is way too much analysis for this early in the season. All that per-drive and per-play stuff doesn't mean much when both players have faced really bad teams. I mean Wentz played Cleveland and Chicago and Dak faced a slightly better Washington and Chicago. Wentz has the best win...
The title reminds me: It was pathetic how in that PC yesterday, Garrett went on about how last year we learned so many lessons in building and running our team and what an educational experience it was.
Sixth year in and he's still selling "learning experiences" as a head coach. This is...
Funny, when Garrett took over, everyone thought -- and Garrett as much as said himself -- that we were getting a Mike Zimmer type.
But we ended up getting another Wade type. Only minus the expertise on one side of the ball.
Yeah, hate to say it, but they seem like pretty similar players only Wentz is better in pretty much every area: A little bigger, a little faster, a little better arm.
But it's early and who knows how things will shake out. Dak might prove to be that little bit cooler under pressure against...
Dez did play the rest of the game after that, so I doubt it's anything too terrible.
It is really weird how they've delayed and/or denied the MRI. David Moore actually suggested they've been doing this to drum up interest and keep everyone talking about the team. Pretty cynical view from...
