    Interesting name on interview list

Supposedly GB asst head coach/defensive asst Winston Moss will be interviewed this week for our HC opening. Moss has worked for Capers now a couple of yrs, and Capers supposedly thinks very highly of him. We know Garrett intended to hire Capers as his DC when he was offered the Baltimore and...

    Day After Thoughts

It was hardly a thing of beauty, but I didnt expect it to be. The bottom line is its a "W" over the Eagles. THE EAGLES. They are required hating. There will never come a day when I am upset about a win over the Eagles. Proud of the team, I doubt many would have blamed them had they mailed it...

    Stupid bowl game moment

I just witnessed the Baylor coach call a timeout with 5 seconds left, down 38-14. So he could throw a hail mary.

Peter King says Luck staying in school

SI's Peter King reported on Sunday Football Night in America on NBC Sunday that Stanford QB Andrew Luck's "current plan" is to stay in school rather than leave for the 2011 NFL draft. King cites Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh, who does not believe Luck will go pro because of his commitment to...

    draft if there's a lockout?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I've seen it as yes and no from differing people. If they lockout and dont sign a new agreement before the April draft, will there be a draft? Personally I don think there will be a lockout, although with Goodell in charge I guess I wouldnt be shocked either.

    Day After Thoughts

Definitely wasnt what I was expecting. I didnt think we'd win 42-0, but I did expect we'd win the game comfortably. Two ugly pick 6's in the first quarter ruined my hopes of that though. When Kitna went out, I somewhat expected the worst and thought we might see a really ugly loss, but to Steven...

    Day After Thoughts

Usual disclaimer, not all the comments below are directed at people here. 4-2 under Garrett, IMO he should have the job locked up. Our defense is swiss cheese, but at least they are finding ways to win instead of finding ways to lose. Once we got up 27-7, it would have been great to run them...

    Cowboys-Redskins inactives

Looks like McNabb is the #2 QB, not the #3 QB as had been reported. RW inactive for us, Victor Butler is active Redskins | Week 15 Inactives Sun, 19 Dec 2010 09:07:49 -0800 The Washington Redskins have declared RB Andre Brown, OG Derrick Dockery, C Erik Cook, RB James Davis, DL Jeremy...

Free had best game of the year vs Eagles

I must admit I havent studied this guys website much, but I found a link to it on another site and went through it. There's some interesting stuff there. It comes from something called profootballfocus.com, it looks like you have to subscribe to get full access on how each player is graded and...

    Day After Thoughts

Pretty good game, yes the defense has holes and needs some work. Yes the OL again couldnt generate the kind of psuh we want to see. But its coming. We'll get there. At 1-7 this team was an utter disgrace, arguably the biggest trainwreck in franchise history. We could EASILY be 5-0 under Jason...

    Cowboys-Eagles inactives

Somebody put Bob on suicide watch, Butler is inactive. No explanation that I've seen for it so far. Cowboys inactives: QB Tony Romo, RB Marion Barber, LB Kenwin Cummings, OLB Victor Butler, DE Clifton Geathers, C Phil Costa, OT Sam Young, OT Jermey Parnell Eagles inactives: QB Mike Kafka, CB...

    Jason Williams

Will apparently miss tomorrows game with an injury, but his two starts have been fairly solid. 7 tackles in each game (14 total) 2 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 2 passes defensed. Not starting a rue thread, but I do wish we'd have held onto this guy for another offseason. He probably is...

Sensational win. What a game. Thats two really amazing games in a row we've witnessed. One vs the super bowl champs, the other vs the team the champs beat in the super bowl. Both of those teams were expected to make super bowl runs again. I've said it every week now, but I'm proud of this team...

Disclaimer- some of the comments in this arnt directed at people here, rather they are for alot the myopic boneheads at the other place I post at. I didnt expect a win yesterday, I said it numerous times during the short week. Almost nobody in this forum did. They all talked about how it was...

    Doug Free

Pretty impressive in spite of what a certain resident member contends. Matt Mosley also said this week Free deserves strong consideration for the probowl. I think we've got our LT for the next 6-8 years if he continues to improve as he has. This was in regards to Sundays game vs Detroit:

    Crayton injured in Monday's win

Looks like he may have a dislocated wrist, I'm guessing that might be a season ender. If so, it sux because we wont get the upgraded draft pick via trade now. He has 28 receptions, I think 39 was the line for us to get the higher (6th I think) pick.

    Day Ater Thoughts

Its great to win back to back games. I certainly didnt expect it would take till almost Thanksgiving to see it, but it feels good just the same. We're 2-0 now under Garrett and I'm proud of the team again this week. They could have folded tent when things started going bad, but instead they...
