Stephen Jones: Crawfords replacement already on the roster

It's amazing how we've had the greatest talent ever assembled in the history of the NFL (according to our front office), and yet somehow we keep going 8-8 or worse and haven't been to the playoffs in more than 3 years. I mean, we NEVER have to look outside for a replacement because we're just...

Stephen Jones: Crawfords replacement already on the roster

Yup. We have been overestimating our talent for years and it always bites us in the ass.

Marine who pissed on Taliban corpes says he does not regret doing it

Right on. To hell with those pieces of shit who want nothing more but to kill innocent people. Men, women, children....doesn't matter. As you pointed out, the Muslim Radicalist who honestly believes that by killing some innocent person will earn him a spot in a heaven is one of the most...

    Romo sucks in the RZ

Yes, but neither was short yardage. They were both situations that gave him enough space to throw it down the field.....they weren't quick snap and throw plays. That is the back shoulder throw that he sucks at.

    Romo sucks in the RZ

He's very good with it down the field, but not in short yardage and certainly not near the goal line.

    Romo sucks in the RZ

Yea, Romo leaves a lot to be desired as a redzone QB. Not only does he suck at the corner fade, he also sucks at the throwing the quick back shoulder pass at the goal line. We've had some pretty big targets in recent years - Owens, Bennett, Williams, and now Dez, and he can never get that ball...

Roger Goodell talks 'formal rotation' for 'Hard Knocks'

That's right about the Jags being on NFLN and not HBO.....but I thought it was 2000 or 2001? Oof.

Jaworski- Romo 15th best starting QB

I think his list is solid. There's no question that Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and Manning are above him. Anyone arguing that he's in their class is just a blind homer. I know Romo lovers think he's better than Eli and Ben, but he is not. They make mistakes too and are prone to ugly games, but...

Jaworski- Romo 15th best starting QB

    I think that's a pretty accurate list.

Jaworski- Romo 15th best starting QB

I would agree that he catches even more heat because he plays for Dallas, but that doesn't change the fact that his mistakes are still mistakes, and very often those mistakes happen at the worst times. Until he cuts down on those, he'll never get the respect that many Cowboys fans think he...

Roger Goodell talks 'formal rotation' for 'Hard Knocks'

Actually, the Jags were first but it wasn't called Hard Knocks that year. But it was the exact same production and everything.

Jaworski- Romo 15th best starting QB

Romo is fine anywhere between 10-15. Until he stops making so many mistakes, especially in big games, nobody is going to view him as a great QB and rightfully so.

Speaking of Chicago, I am surprised that Nate Robinson has not been signed after the season he had, and even more surprised that Chicago has yet to resign him.

That is exactly one of the two places I thought of as well, with the other being Houston who really need a PF themselves. At Indiana, he could send West to the bench and make their team better and deeper (TWSS). I would be ok with him going to either one of those teams.

If they can't get Bynum and one of the guards they are said to covet, then they do need to trade Dirk and try to speed up the rebuilding process. I'd hate to see this guy in another uniform, but you've got to think about the future. Rumor was that they entertained this thought last year and...

I am all for this. Low risk, high reward kind of move for a young guy they could eventually build around if it works out. This, however, I am not for at all. What the hell would they want him for?

:lol Yea, he's going to the wrong place if he's looking for sympathy for his "condition". If he thought Houston was insensitive, wait till he gets a load of Philly.

    Re-Signing Sean Lee

I wouldn't sign him until after the season. We keep getting ourselves into trouble because we resign our players prematurely. Make the guy prove he can stay healthy before you commit to him.

Yea, they are going to be really good. I think it's pretty clear he's going there now with Iggy going to the Warriors and Cuban announcing that he's been told they are out of the running. If they somehow get Josh Smith too? Man, they could be lethal.

Getting Iggy would be great. He'd be a younger and more athletic Shawn Marion who has been very good for us in recent years, but is now getting up there in age. It's a shame we couldn't pull of the sign and trade deal involving OJ Mayo and Bledsoe, but oh well. Bynum is worth the risk to me...
