I actually appriciate Irvin's passion. Deion is just there for Deion, as usual. All his "ghetto slang" and silly gimmicks like "First and Prime" or whatever they call that crap. He's not needed on the program.

I disagree.. he got picked on against the Lions. The majority of CJ's catches and one of his TD's came against Newman, even though Ball and Newman were splitting coverage on him, and Newman is still letting up everything in front of him as usual.

Its not the fact that he got beat.. most corners in that situation with even a decent pass by Stafford would get beat. Its the fact that Newman NEVER sees the damn ball coming. He never turns to try and make a play on it before it gets to CJ, which is really the only chance you have of stopping...

As he should have, but the split still somehow ended up skewed to the pass when we were up big most of the game. That's not how it should be. Especially after the first pick, you'd think everyone on the sideline would be thinking about controlling the ball and milking the clock after that.

They stopped playing as much one on one coverage on the outside, for starters. Don't worry though, its not just you.. JG and Romo didn't seem to notice that either.
