This is what the Cowboys brain-trust wanted. They allocated maximum resources to the defense and went cheap on the OL. And it worked. This week, anyway.

Good list, dbair. You mentioned Dez. His big punt return was pretty special. Jenkins looked good given his surgery and layoff. Carr didn't look out of place at safety. Murray looked good when he was able to break it outside. And they managed to win.

I don't know how good this OL can be, but they haven't played or practiced together long enough to play like a coordinated unit. The OL is really holding this offense back.

There is a lot to be said for getting out with a win. Several players on defense looked good. Church is a tough loss. The offense .... Well, maybe they'll get it together in a few weeks.

South Carolina is a pleasure to watch today. High quality SEC football is something special.

Most games today are close and have a handful of key plays that, had they gone another way, would have changed who won and who lost. The Seattle game really wasn't one of those close games. Unless you wanna say "what if the second half never happened?"

I had very high hopes for Vickers. As a motivational speaker, the guy is great. However, this season, the jury is still out on him as a football player.
